Max K I don't really care about Mao and his big forehead though. I respect Deng Xiaoping, who realised that the ideology of Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin wouldn't work, so he turned China's Command Economy into a free market economy, and made China enter the global trade system.

No. Mao is a real communist while Deng isn't. I have to state that there are millions of people NATURALLY DIED in the third world country. However, the western just says "MAO KILLED MILLIONS OF CHINESE". If you want to figure out who caused those deaths, I have to say that it is because of WESTERN IMPERIALIST COUNTRIES. Before Chairman Mao there was nothing left for China, but Mao changed the system, improving educational system and protecting right for working class. Until today there are tens of millions of people go to Beijing to see Mao. It is not because they are foolish; instead, it is because Mao trully stand for their class.
@tripsaplenty12276 жыл бұрын
Grace Cooper Mao wasn't good for China. Had another Chinese Communist taken control of the Party in the 30's millions of people may not have died for nothing. Mao was responsible for the Great Leap Forward, an objectively ridiculous attempt to modernize the country that caused nothing but hardship. The Cultural Revolution was another great disaster for the Chinese people. Maybe a better educated leader could have prevented them. Mao was just another example of why a good revolutionary soldier does not necessarily mean a good ruler.

Today is 45th Death Anniversary of a great Communist Revolutionary Chinese Leader Mao Zedong. Under his Leadership China become united and a world power. His ideology was Marxism-Leninism and as a staunch supporter of the ideology he stood against the Revisionist Khrushchevite USSR and become a soke anti imperialist world power. But during his later life and after his death Deng Xiaoping (a Chinese Khrushchevite) turned down all his policies and made China a socio imperialist country . His ideologies are widely known as the ideology of Maoism.

Thank you for this post. I was born during the time of the Long March before the declaration of the PRC in 1949. Without Mao there was no consolidated party. Without that there was no PRC. Without that there was no modern China. Without that and Hu and others over half a billion people in the west would never have come out of poverty. Modern China is instructive for the whole world to understand and marvel at, notwithstanding the many horrors on the way. However you cannot have an omelette without breaking eggs, and his legacy should not be trashed by revisionist whitewashers. The social evolution of the human race is littered with horror, but few can claim to have made a quarter of mankind more proud, advanced and on the way to a better life. RIP Mao, along with Ghandi, Mandela and others.
