What a beautiful job and what a sweet sweet dog. As the owner of a Baldie and a Powderpuff, I couldn't help but notice how that little angel's head started to rise with each stage of the grooming. He/she knew she was making him beautiful. Wish this groomer lived near me!

What a fantastic breed (and a fantastic dog in particular)! I just got a Chinese Crested Dog from a friend who rescued her from the breeder who was going to put her to sleep because she can't be a show dog. The only reason she can't be shown is because her bite isn't right and would get her disqualified. Everything else about her (physically) is perfect! She is special needs, mentally, though. Such a sweetheart though.

Makes me miss my boy Gandolf. He was a hairy hairless with mohawk down his back that I shaved. But I didn't shave the ears because I loved his butterfly ears. But the rest I did to a standard cut. These dogs are so sweet ,funny loving and very sensitive little creatures.

I recently rescued a Chinese Crested. I might as well have adopted a baby! They're so sweet and innocent and well mannered. Milan is absolutely beautiful. And such a close name to mine, Millie!

I found my CC at the swimming park on a very hot July over 100 degrees outside. He was skinny and hot and very scared. I couldn't belive someone abandoned him. I asked around the swimming pool park and they said it's been out here for over a week. They were feeding him hotdogs. They were getting to call the shelter ( which he wouldn't have survived because he was pretty ugly looking and scary). I told them that I'll keep him, if you catch him for me. Two days later, we went swimming again, and they let me know that they caught him. He's in the office. Yay!! We've had him for over 7 years. He's the best dog ever! His name is Jimmy Choo.

So sweet, beautiful dog, god bless her🍀🍀🙏🙏 Btw... I have Chinese Crested dogs at home, one is a medium intermediate type and needs constant care for growing hair, but I use a small razor to shave my ears, mouth and paws, it is much faster and more comfortable for dogs of this breed.

Sometimes it can make a dog nevous or excited, an excited dog might wiggle too much and create an accident

@@karolynotero392 that's is exactly why. I work at a grooming salon and there are some dogs you can talk to (it may even make them feel better) but most dogs do best if you speak to them as little as possible. Just be calm and it helps them to relax too.

Probably could be resolved with a medicated shampoo that your vet could provide you with.

You can use a blade #10, #15 or #30. But be very careful with the #30.

This is not a powder puff - it's a hairy hairless and it is very correct :)

The poor guy was probably badly matted and matts are very uncomfortable for dog that requires daiy brushing
