I’m so happy to have heat 🙌🏼 and so happy to finally get this video up. It was 90% about a week ago but then my life got extremely eventful and a lot to deal with. I look forward to editing those videos to share the stories of the past two weeks since I filmed this one. You need to put a tailpipe on your heater muffler so you can route it to the side of the van. You could get exhaust fumes inside of the van the way you have it setup right now.

Yes I came here to voice those same concerns. I personally have mine pointed straight out the side blowing all the fumes away from my van

True. I have heard that you want to rig it so exhaust cannot pool under the van - especially in the instance of heavy snow fall that might seal the space beneath the van.

Exhaust discharge to the oppisite side of sliding door .Weathered door seals or slighty ajar door could siphon draft exhaust into van.Extention for exhaust can be ordered online..Exhaust should pitched to drain moist exhaust air out.

It is a pleasure watching your Dad work. He is a true craftsman as well as a mechanic. I’ve watched a few youtubers muddle through installing a heater and they got it done, somehow, but your Dad is a professional and it sure shows. Beautiful work. Is it silly to say that about a diesel heater install? Hope Frank is ok, he seems a little quiet. I’m not really a dog person but Frank is very special. I know you take the best care of him and he deserves it.

I can’t explain how the labors of love ❤️ by your dad combined with Frank’s patient watch truly warms my heart. I need to see this because it’s been missing from my life for so long. Miss my dad. Love my spoiled dog, but he is very whiny dog when he isn’t center of attention. Frank is the best! Something tells me Foresty raised the diesel heater bar and I am hoping the heat is a good addition. So incredibly sorry you are experiencing continued neck pain. It sucks. The pain sucks. I NEED heat to endure it, and way too much ibuprepren, can’t do script pain meds., they bring their own special hell. Get some fleece, cut and tie it with pockets to hold hand warmers you can buy on Amazon and wear that heat on your body to make everything relax. Deep heat plus deep breaths and lots of long walks. I can’t believe you have managed winters in Canada without heat with these issues. It comes on and eventually it goes. Praying you reset to a comfort zone soon🙏 . Love heart shaped rocks too, they are everywhere ❤️

What fantastic work by your dad. He's such a great support and knowledgeable too. So glad you have heat now. You will wonder how you managed without all those years ☺ Your new box is great - make yourself a long cushion to go on it box, then you've got extra comfy seating. Or pop a cosy fleece blanket on it. Also useful without, of course, like a tabletop. My favourite clip of Supervisor Frank was him on his back, doing a goofy Scooby face! Love the new stickers. They are vibrantly coloured like your van. Sorry that your shoulder and neck are being so troublesome. Would definitely recommend deep heat cream, plus lying on an electric blanket or heated pad. I've had a chronic pain condition for 25+ years, so know how gnarly things can get. Take care of yourselves xx

Hi Amanda, I don't know the cause or exact type of pain you are enduring however I am a retired Scottish Police Dog Handler (K9) and over the course of my career I suffered a lot of joint and bone injuries. I have tried various 'alternative' treatments but have found treatment by a good Chiropractor to be the most effective and long lasting. Anyway your videos are great, your Dad is a knowledgeable kind man and it goes without saying that Frank is a brilliant companion.
