Why would black powdered ematch be illegal for consumer
@NPCSN4 жыл бұрын
You’ve probably long-since figured it out, however, for seeing the buttons at night, you could get an Amazon battery holder and solder some LED strips to the pack, and attach them to the top of the box. Just a though. Thanks for the video.

I use a led ball cap type clip on light to see what button I'm pushing. I also hacked my receivers to run off one single 6v rechargeable battery, also you can hook up four or more receivers on one battery. Saves tons of money on batteries and they are always fresh every shoot.

Add scab wire to keep your receivers from getting burned or put then in a small container with a hole in the lid for the antenna, keeps them dry also.

I assumed with a permit you could shoot that kind of stuff. And as far as the filing system I think it’s pretty decent for a low-cost one, I really enjoyed using this last year.

Are you able to program cues on the modules to different channels? Say the module has the sticker of channel 1 and cues 5 through 8, can you then program it such that the cue 5 channel 1 on your module is fired by pushing the button for channel 2 cue 1?
@DIYPYROTUB7 жыл бұрын
Yes you can program your modules in that fashion. However keep in mind that the lowest Cue Number on the model will be the button you push on the filing system. For example: you can move a channel 1 module to channel 2 and place it anywhere in the queue order that you would like, however the button you push will become the first number on the mantle. If you have any other questions about this I can release a video on how to program the firing system and go in depth on how versatile it is and isn’t. Just make sure to hit the bell icon under this video so you can find it when I publish it.

Where did you find the ammo box for the batteries? I cut some styrofoam to fit in my tool box for my batteries and I’d rather the ammo box
@DIYPYROTUB7 жыл бұрын
Hello bigmilke79, I got my ammo box at Mills Fleet Farm. But you can get a ammo box at just about any sports store. I know they carry them at Walmart as well.

Do 1.2v NIMH batteries work?
@DIYPYROTUB6 жыл бұрын
Those should work however you might see a drop in length on performance. Meaning the batteries May not last long.

They only need to work for one fire, correct? @@DIYPYROTUB

How much did the ignition kit cost
@DIYPYROTUB6 жыл бұрын
At the time of purchase for the primary firing system shown in this video, I paid $163. However today you can get it for about $155 or a little cheaper. The small eight shot system cost me $44 at the time of purchase. The eight shot firing system includes two receiver modules and one small 12 shot remote. Thank you for watching Colton long and hope you have a great day.

I plan on making a teardown video of this firing system where we open it up and see how it is wired. If anyone is interested?

I am interested. Just ordered one of these firing systems last night. I am subbed and have it set to send me an email whenever you post a new video.
