it also takes a certain social prowess to get where she is. I mean look at her confidence. I also like the way she sometimes subtly smiles when she walks to the end of the runway. Sometimes it's just a glimpse or even a suggestion of a smile. Not big. But it's noticeable and brings a presence. People do double-takes because of that. That's the "it" factor.

It's not that 'models' don't have have real skills and training, it's that the job itself doesn't necessarily require alot of skill. Some models have worked in other jobs prior to becoming a model and thus have learned some tangible skills and some also study as well prior to, during and post modelling.

It's evident you're one of the many people who have a very warped and ignorant perception of modelling. The women at the level that Liu is at have worked extremely hard to get to that point, harder than any normal 9 to 5 worker. Getting up at 4am for 5am call times, shooting 14 hours straight then flying 12 hours, getting 3 hours sleep and shooting 6 hours then back on the plane to the US, 5 hours sleep, meetings, agency calls, an event, 4 hours sleep, fly to London... You have no clue.
