It is interesting to me how similar the entire process is here in San Jose, with my wife cooking traditional foods, with our grand daughters getting red envelopes, and the laughter and good vibes. I have always mentioned to all those visiting China: if you wish to know at which average level the Chinese locals (especially those in the Rural areas) is happy & comfortable in their daily life, you just simply look at their homes & the many household items present. Furthermore, you must also have an awareness of the quality of the numerous roads, even in remote villages, plus the quantity of electric motor cycles or scooters, private cars present everywhere(many are brand-new). In China the progress & improvement in the quality of the daily life of the ordinary people has been enormous and gratifying during the past decades.
