What is the eye relief like on the lense? Could you clearly see this while viewing through goggles or does it need to be right up against your eye for a full picture? Thinking of using this as poor man's airsoft nods.

So it needs to be right up against your eye to see through it, with this mount it sits slanted not straight which is a bit annoying, I’m going to try other stuff to see if I can straighten it up but definitely worth for handheld or if mounted correctly. If you do have a bigger budget for £2-300 you can get a gen 1 night vision which would probably suit you better

Yeah it’s okay, sits a little bit at an angle but can still see out of it

Hey, I’m not really sure, I know you can manually focus it if you zoom in and out as I was trying to record one handed it was sadly out of focus

Whats the lowest zoom it can have? Can it have like 1x zoom so you could walk around with it attached on your helmet and not fall over or get dizzy?

The lowest is 1x so normal view I think the highest is 10x

I’ve only done 5 minute tests I haven’t done an hour or couple hours test so I can’t fully say you won’t feel dizzy or not, me just guessing after a while you’ll probably get a headache like any other screen, I haven’t fallen over yet when walking in the dark

@@aleksejtusevski3152 I think most people need to train regular to get use nvg.I read somewhere soldiers need to train themselves to get use to it too.

When wearing it, is your one on a slight angle, because I seem to have an issue with it and was wondering if you did too or how to fix it

Mine is at a slight angle sadly so everything is slanted, this can be fixed by getting a new mount I believe, these devices aren’t really made for head gear and is more for looking through

why does the IR torch only stay on a few seconds and go back to red screen?

It’s auto corrects to the light so if it’s light enough you don’t need it it could of also been me as I was testing both at the same time so one is not needed

How much did it cost to buy and have it shipped to england

Hey, it cost me about $150 total which was around £130 this included a torch helmet mount and unit it’s self you could probably get hype to do you a deal if you didn’t want the helmet mount etc and you just wanted the unit :)

digital is good for now unless you have serious war going on and everyone has top notch gen 3 nvg lol.

Yeah I agree, I’ve recently upgraded to a Gen 1 will hopefully upgrade to a gen 3 when I can afford it

@@CMMilitaria Just wanna say hope you manage to save up a gen 3.Back then I got my nv from spygear and (busted)eyeclops nvg.Then finally I got a Gen 1 too and maybe would wanna get this one.Gen 2-3 is illegal in my country so I treasure my Gen 1 alot lol

Oh wow is it? Thanks hopefully I do manage to save up, I think I’m looking at about $1500-2000… one of them things that I’m not able to drop that sort of money on one thing lol it’ll probably be the end of the year unless I can find one for cheaper
