President Trump will go into American 🇺🇲 history book as the one who woke the world up about the expansionist China 🇨🇳. While calling Xi Jinping his "best friend ever," the president - began with hefty tariffs on Chinese imports, then - broadened into tech restrictions against Huawei, - closed down Chinese Consulate in Houston, and - Finally launched a decoupling from China. Future US policy will basically *continue and intensify* this strategy.

In the meeting Xi-2-Brandon: He emphasized that separatist actions for Taiwan independence are incompatible with peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait. If the United States wants to maintain peace across the Taiwan Strait, the key is to recognize the nature of Lai Qingde and the Democratic Progressive Party authorities in wanting Taiwan independence, handle the Taiwan issue with caution, clearly oppose Taiwan independence, and support China's peaceful reunification. He also stated that the Taiwan issue, China democracy and human rights system , the socialist path and system, and the right to development are the four red lines that cannot challenge, and they are also the most important guardrail and safety net for Sino-US relations.

While tariff will lead to inflation, prolong trade deficit between US and China (China export to US 536.20 billion vs US export to China 147.81 billion in 2023) is not beneficial to the US especially when US and China are not eye to eye on lots of issues and win win situation is no longer a priority to the US but the US needs to be very careful in implementing tariff as it will really damage not only China's economy but US will be in far worse situation due to high debt where increasing interest rate to counter inflation will lead to higher bond interest repayment. When impose tariff where there are substitute to products or services, either from other countries or from local sources, the impact of inflation will be less. Another way is impose high tariff on imported goods from China while encouraging China companies to set up manufacturing in the US with low tariff or other tax incentives to bring jobs to US especially in EV cars manufacturing where an eco system of supply chains involving average of 15,000 parts on an EV car with hundreds of local companies supplying the parts. US will also need to consider counter tariff by China, when China impose high tariff on US products, US will need alternative market(s) for its products. In summary, tariff is never a good thing for both countries involved but it will create alternatives that will benefit third party countries.

Tariffs will not hurt China at all and they will hurt the American workers, American Consumers and the American people. Let me remind you what a tariff is, it's just a tax. It's a name given to a particular kind of tax namely the tax charged to an American importer when that person brings something produced overseas into United States to be sold. It means Mr Trump a Republican who is against taxes is proposing an enormous tax increase and while he keeps saying he's hitting the Chinese with a tariff. It's not the Chinese who pay for tariffs, it's Americans. The American imported will pay much more and that person will then charge more to the consumer. And you know what that means, "AN INFLATION" .

Taiwanese average salary and purchasing power is much higher than the common people in China. Plus the people there have so much more freedom in everything. So obviously Taiwan is a serious threat to their own party's political survival...lol. I guess they will invent whatever subjective reasons they need, to justify ostracizing or even taking over Taiwan in the future. If not for their outward and covert attempts to make sure many countries ostracize Taiwan internationally, Taiwanese living standards could even be much higher. Based on documentaries I've watched, they also have lots of online commenters from the mainland pretending to be Taiwanese, spreading as much anger and discord within the Taiwanese towards one another. Some kind of a weird tactic to disrupt their society's coherence and happiness. Or for spreading certain ideas in Taiwan, while attacking or flooding out any ideas that support the west.

China always honor the agreement. Frankly, I want to tell you this if you don't mind very directly, if you did a poll of 193 countries leaders and ask them would you rather deal with President Xi Jing Ping or would you rather deal with President Donald Trump, majority countries would vote in favor of President Xi Jin Ping. And i can tell you this that many countries in the world don't share you vision of President Xi. Many countries leaders see him as a sane, rational and predicted leader who is advancing China's interests quite effectively. At the end of the day you look at where China was when he took power in 2014 and where China is at 2024, it has come a long way.
