the movie is quite emotional maybe u want to watch. the director really understands women's emotions and he hit really soft spots. its a near middle aged woman with a child and a complicated past and the worst father, lots of responsibility and inconfidence in her. She has strong feelings for this younger guy and he does too but bc of real life circumstances of his family and her, they cannot continue. But what the director wants to say is regardless of one's past and inconfidence, allow yourself to love. also a message to society to stop being harsh to such women

Yes. Like I said in the video, I like to watch movies that calmly discuss the conflicts of everyday life. There are conflicts that are often ignored or avoided from being discussed, but they are allowed to occur in our lives. For example, those conflicts in the relationship between parents and children, the relationship between ordinary people and inconspicuous niche groups, and the relationship between people and themselves or the surrounding environment. They are all worthy of discussion.😃

It is currently a highest grossing Vietnamese movie of all time... It's a story about title character name MAI who is massage girl and has a dark past. She meet and fall in love with with a rich guy name DUONG. Their love is going up and down as them reveal their true self... And the tomboy is her daughter...lol.

Bài này rất hay và sâu lắng, nếu bạn hiểu nội dung sẽ thấy nó "thấm thía" hơn nữa.. một phần do cách dùng từ thông minh của nhạc sĩ. ở VietNam chỉ có những cặp hiện đang là vợ chồng mới gọi nhau là "mình", nhưng ở bài hát này là một bài hát chia tay tan vỡ.. Nhạc sĩ thay vì dùng từ "em" thì lại dùng từ "mình" ngụ ý muốn nói là tuy mỗi người sau này điều có bến đỗ riêng, gia đình riêng. Nhưng họ đã từng xem nhau như một nửa của đời mình. tôi không dịch comment này qua tiếng Anh hoặc tiếng Trung, vì tôi biết ngôn ngữ khác có thể không phân biệt và giải nghĩa được từ "mình" và từ "em". Cảm ơn bạn!

I agree. I usually listen to the content in the composition and watch the scenes more, but I think the content of this MV is more rooted in the movie itself. So I should watch the movie first (but is the movie still showing in cinemas now? Maybe I can’t find the online resource)

It's a long story. I have been listening to Vietnamese music for a long time, probably since 2010. I first discovered the website zing.vn by accident, and later used the zing mp3 app. I often browsed newly released songs, but I haven’t listened to them as much in the past few years as before. Since 2015, with the gradual emergence of son tung mtp, st319 team, and some musicians from The Voice of Vietnam and Vietnamese Idol, I feel that Vietnamese pop music has developed exponentially. Then I made some Vietnamese friends (all of whom were studying in China), and some friends who majored in Vietnamese language at university. I also went to Vietnam several times, and I learned more about Vietnam. I think that by making videos, I might be able to discuss Vietnamese music and the content in MVs with more Vietnamese netizens, which would help to have a better understanding.😁

I have some favorite Vietnamese nhac si, such as duc tri, le cat trong ly, vu cat tuong (she seems to have just released a new song), anh tho, NSND thu hien (I also like to listen to nhac do), and other bolero singers . There are some younger artists now, like tlinh, wren evans, who look great, and I think it’s interesting to explore Vietnamese music.😁

I can read general Vietnamese, but I can't speak it. But when I visited Vietnam alone, I had no obstacles and no need to ask for directions. I attended book launchs and watched performances by truc nhan and trung quan idol by myself,Afterwards, I used grabike to go back to the hotel, just like the locals.😁

well :) this is the ending song of this movie :) and yup you know when the music that's good, ain't noway this is a trash movie ;). You make a lot of research and get it's right the movie just simple about love and conflict round normal life nothing special about that but can get emotional and related to many people around the world.

When I go to see a movie, I usually watch it until the screen goes black at the end, so I usually listen to the ending song. But most people can't actually finish listening to the ending song, and movies of this type generally don't have easter eggs. I thought this song was a trailer song. In fact, for a while, I often went to the China Independent Film Festival and the graduation short films of students from the China Film Academy. Sometimes I felt that it was not the subject of the story, but the storytelling ability and narrative rhythm that better reflected the director's level. For several years, I watched every year Vietnam’s films that applied for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. But I think some movies don't tell the story well. The other thing is local characteristics. The difference between Japanese movies and Korean movies is not only the difference in whether the story takes place in Tokyo or Seoul, but also from the perspective of the camera, from the narrative rhythm, and in many aspects. I seem to feel some of the humidity of Vietnam that I imagine in TRAN ANH HUNG's films, and I am less impressed by other directors (although some of his films were shot in French studios).

I have a question. When the singer pronounced "ch", it was different from when others sang (similar to [ts]). Is it because of the dialect accent?

I'm not sure what you are asking but I guess he from the central of vietnam ( miền trung) but he sang in the south accent. Phan Mạnh Quỳnh is a singer also song writer he most famous for his unique type of singing and vibe, not sure why but when you hear his voice you know who singing it. Fun fact his first debut song ( not really ) is a trolling song he make for fun but go viral somehow :) after that's many singer in Vietnam misunderstand and think he is kind a trash singer because of the weird trolling song but after that's they found down about his tatent :).

I mean, all his "ch" sounds (like the ch in Chăn, chưa) sound different from the ch sounds I usually hear from singers. When I listen to songs, I pay more attention to the composition part of the song. For us non-Vietnamese speakers, the content in the music will be conveyed more intuitively. Sometimes if a song has a simple piano as the intro, I might turn it off (for a For a few years，Vietnamese pop songs seemed to often use that kind of intro)🌝
