Yep, the power creep is wild but to be totally fair the older premiums are fairly dull to play. I used to love the T26E5 but the constant T8 premium = 240 alpha drove me insane. I think more than anything, many of the older T8 premiums need to be looked over again.

yeah, or they nerfed Kranvagn speed, because it was reaching hulldown position too fast, but they give tank with rockets with 10 degrees gun depression, unpenetrable turret and small weakspots which is not visible, if it fully use its gun depression xD Also they gave it 41 mm armor on top of the turret. Why not 40? Probably so it won't be overmatched by most tier VIII vehicles (3 caliber rule, there is only few tanks with caliber higher than 123 mm, one is BZ and another one is Skoda T 56, next op tank) xD

Absolutely agree, just when you think they couldn't add a dumber tank... Its a-symmetrical fun. Something WG so often gets wrong, making tier 6-8 miserable for everybody else as a LT or MT. Even tier 10 MTs half your HP disapears. So stupid. They could add the rocket gizmo to a regular HT, with a standard gun and its would be fine. Or a rocket, big gun but crap armour, but not the trio. Plus the chance of engine fire should be tragically high, driving around with jet fuel tanks.

The thing has like 10 HP on its modules it burns alright also they are rocket boosters ie solid fuel rockets there is no fueltanks or anything for them but maybe they should make it so the rockets activate when you shoot them would be really funny forcing these out of their position by shooting the rockets

@@leonschroeder4771 That would be a really, really clever mechanic and a huge balancing factor to the tank. Shoot the rockets, set them off, and he gets driven out into the open if he doesn't react instantly. As someone who has the tank and think's is insane, that's a fantastic idea.

Speed, armour and massive one shot damage potential, sounds balanced to me WG. Yes like everything else it will be surpassed by the next OP tank and everyone will move on, but let’s be honest, at the moment it is OP and ruining every game it appears in.

A tier 8 armored shitbarn with the ability to be a medium tank 4 time during the battle. The boosts are great for early game positions and as a heavy tank you can use 2 or 3 of your boosts to beat other people to a position. It isn't well designed but the rocket boosts are fun. If you're an amazing player this tank will be strong for you but I would expect a Renegade or Skoda T56 to do more for you but if you're a decent player that has a lot of time on stuff like the KV-2 back when it was fun this thing is pretty strong. Currently the matchmaking is whoever has the better BZ driver it seems and if you want to win the mirror hardening will make you die in two shots generally however I think Daki's setup is great. If you don't believe in turbo though hardening or another gun handling piece would be good options. I think one of the strongest abilites it has is getting to strange positions early to get an early shot. As much as the gun is strong I wouldn't be surprised if it was the armor, gun depression, speed, and profile of the tank making it feel good. If they added a longer recharge time it would be closer to fair being able to chain them feels amazing but is probably part of the problem. If they give the tier 10 a higher top speed during the boost and give it a longer recharge time maybe 30 seconds to a minute it would be more like baiting a cooldown out then just the boost spam the premium can do. I also saw something about using the handbrake during the boost to turn better haven't tried it yet but seems worth a shot. Also have to say this tank feels dirty with how strong it is punishing mistakes to the point it's way too unfair. I own it so can't say I want it nerfed but it would be better for the game if it was given a recharge nerf or something. Even just taking away one boost I don't know it's just insanely strong. Love the tank though.

This tank will be popular for awhile but the novelty will wear off. It seems to be a bit better tier 8 KV-2. In the hands of good players that can pen their shots it will be a beast but most players will find it inconsistent. In typical WOT fashion however, I expect the community to throw themselves about how OP it is. Same as was said about the IS-3A, Defender, Object 703 V2, Caliban and most recently the Vipera. Unique tanks that were going to destroy the game that you don't see too often anymore. The BZ-176 will be another that joins that category. The Progetto 46, Bourrasque, Skorpion and SHKPT-TVP 100 are tanks that have far more influence on a match.

I don't see the biggest problem in its gun, the armor layout is way worse tbh, this thing was basically designed to crush any lower tiers it meets and even same tier tanks can get ridiculous bounces off of this things lower plate. It seems as if WG has suddenly forgotten everything they learned about balancing over the past years, because for tanks like the shptk they seemed to have figured out a way to make them desirable yet not completely broken. Shrek may have a tier X gun but its also really limited by poor gun depression, slow shell velocity, a huge profile, etc. and thus it seemed as if WG had actually put some thought into what it will do to the current game, but then they put the BZ out... and that thing literally has it all, with the poor gun handling being THE only thing holding it back but we all know how it behaves with accuracy, once your close range it doesn't really matter. It has the speed to get into a lot of the important positions BEFORE the other heavies and once its there in not only has the best armor but also the biggest gun combined with the best gun depression xDDDDDDDDD WG is literally a circus, I just cant possibly comprehend how the people that decided it was necessary to nerf leo 1, leo pta, progetto 65, standard b can be the same people that push a MONSTROSITY like this out. Also have to disagree with you on this tanks skill ceiling, bad players wont find it inconsistent, its literally the best thing that coudlve happened to them. Yes obviously a good player will be able to wreak absolute havoc in this but after it used up it jet boosters it will often be too slow to carry games also it just doesn't have the accuracy to allow a good player to shoot all the weird angles and tiny gaps in the maps BUT it is 100% perfect for anyone just planning on holding a chokepoint or yoloing into a brawl. The sheer amount of armor and alpha damage it gets just makes it by far the most braindead tank in this game, now your average 300wn8 tier 8 premium enjoyer can finally just peek a corner against 5 same tier tanks, 2 of them bounce the other 3 deal 300dmg each, and he has just gotten an okay trade, so he goes back, repeats and thinks he had a great game. + sorry i didn't actually read that at first somehow: "[...] SHKPT-TVP are tanks that have far more influence on a match" do you even play this game? Just answer one quick question please, whenever you realize that your team is missing massive amounts of HP in the early stages of the game who was it that lost those HP most of the time? Or whenever you see your team getting pushed within the first few minutes of the game, where does that happen? Is it the open field protected by 50 TDs and scouted by 3 light tanks or is it rather the corner where the heavy brawl takes place? Obviously every map plays a bit differently and we also have ones where lights have by far the biggest impact but lets just face it, the heavy brawl is where a lot of games are decided because its the place where players are usually the most agressive and also just have the most contact to the enemy and once a team is down a few tanks or thousands HP it all usually goes very fast.

My absolute least favourite part of this tank is that its roof and the part of the gun that pops out when using your gun depression are both 41mm of armor so overmatching isn't really something you can do against it, it feels incredibly unpleasant to face with its armor, tiny weakspots, boost, uber punishing gun, it's not a fun tank to have in your game if you're not playing it.

For some reason I thought they learned their lesson with the Type 5 about HE spam. Apparently not. IMO tanks with big damage HE should have low pen, or low HE alpha and high pen... not both. *facepalm*

I don't have it(haven't bought boxes...yet, I might not), but it's clear to see from the airplane that it's just BS on the design part. I'm fine with the HUGE alpha gun, what WG fd up is ammo. This was supposed to have 75mm/1100 DMG as the main shell with the 225/800 as the premium shell. But it got changed...for the worse. It is plain P2W. Only you and and a handful of good players think about "using the AP because 160mm over-matches a lot of plates". Most average monkeys will just spam the full gold and meme around. It will be bad on the receiving end of RNG though. This tank should have a 225/600 AP shell as main, a 160/800 HE(SH) as prem and a 75/950 HE as standard HE. Then, the gun should be nerfed heavily in terms of reload and dispersion values(that's what makes it a threat to fast/lowly armored tanks, not the shell itself .It's just too easy to hit.). This tank wanted to mimic a Shitbarn at tier VIII but has none of the drawbacks. It's crazy.

This tank is ruining my fun. I've been playing my 50tp prototype lately to grind credits and I can't penetrate a BZ in the bottom plate with gold rounds. Put on top of that massive alpha damage and rocket boosters, at this point when i see one i just run away, there's nothing i can do really other than flank but that isn't always an option.

It's so annoying to play against. Multiple times I have missed the lower lower plate from close range when shooting at oneshot BZ and then they slap me for 800 because I have bad rng...

They should put it in the game with some of these changes: - Worse gun handling, more like the caliban with watermelon reticle whenever you move - Worse armor, either weaker upper hull, make the flat plate above the lower plate weaker, also make the gun on top of the roof 29mm, this should be overmatchable for 90mm guns as well, or at least decently sized cupolas - less gun depression, 6 or 7 degrees sound more fair, it is way to strong on a ridge line - rockets could have 30sec or 1 min cooldown, so you don't spam then with 45kph avg speed towards a position - make HE rounds less pen, maybe just high HESH pen like british tanks which have 100mm pen or 120mm pen, so you don't always pen sides of tanks and cupolas + To balance out the poor HE pen, they could buff the AP pen to ultra high (270-290mm) similar to the Caliban rounds

Remember how everyone hated on Type 5 for being noob-friendly-tank that was shitting on others for 300-600 dmg ? Also this thing is extremely quick to get into positions. From what I played it can keep up with many mediums at the start due to rocket boosters and catch enemies on heavy line off guard. For example on Pearl River on the side you played I think I used all 4 rocket boosters to get on that hill you played (where you meet often 279e, but deeper than you played it) to catch slower heavies still crossing out in the open and put good 800 into them 😂. I think ironically it was the other Bz who probably only used 2 rocket boosters

Here is what I think they should've done to balance the BZ, let me know what you guys think. 1) Firstly, the part on the gun that elevates through the roof of the tank was initially 30mm thick. AKA 90mm and above could overmatch it. However, they changed that on release so now only TD's and a few select heavies at tier 8 can overmatch it. They should've kept it 30mm. 2) This tank has a similar double lower plate style like 268 v4 and the Italian tds. I hate how WG does this to make a tank strong. The "upper" lower plate is currently 250mm of armor. It should be around 200mm, so gold rounds can butter through it, but angling can get you some bounces. 3) I believe the BZ and the new potential Chinese heavy line in general should be more AP dependent. Make the HE pen 150 instead of 225. You'll be able to butter lower tier tanks and some tanks at tier 8+, along with most sides and rears. Basically slightly stronger hesh. Doing these 3 changes would make the tank strong but balanced. Actually weakspots (but strong when hulldown). HE can punch hard but can't butter through everything like how it can now. And more AP reliant and reliant on the overmatch. Ofc, WG won't touch it now cause it's a premium. Good thing though about WoT is once a tank goes off sale, you don't see them every game or every other game with some exceptions. After Holiday Ops, I don't expect to see more than a couple every 5 or so games. Which isn't terrible. This tank is a clear example of how WG doesn't test their game properly and probably doesn't even play it that much. 100 games in this tank pre-release would easily show them on the test server changes needed to be made. Currently, the only counters to the BZ are thick armor or a tank that is potentially as strong if not stronger, like a Skoda T56. Then again, a T56 can be HE'ed through the cupola and lower plate. I really hope they'll read our feedback and actually do thorough tests before releasing vehicles. I'm all for unique, engaging, and strong premiums, but they should all have clear weaknesses that can be exploited either through skill or by at least 2 different classes (and not just TD's for their massive pen). Once upon a time there was a huge rage debate that the Patriot was too strong to be a premium tank now 225 pen 800 dmg with armor and speed boost is a thing. 225 pen is good agaist more than lightly armored tanks

This tank is absolutely game breaker. I was playing with t9 amx 50 120 and he almost 2 shot me. After that I was like how the fck it reaches to the position so fast. Where normally this kind of heavily armoured tanks shouldn't be there at the beginning of the game. I hope wg balance this tank like either reduce/remove rockets or blocking usage at the beginning of the game.

Objectively the worst part about this vehicle, it's a trash crew trainer for the new line because it has a loader instead of a radio operator. Rocket boosters are fun tho, wish they didn't buff the rest of the tank before release cause it was actually fairly balanced before when it had the consistent rino style gun weakspot when you used gun depression and had HEAT as it's premium instead of the high pen HE.

It's dumb, it's OP and it's broken. Just a silly addition to the game that makes it worse for everyone not playing it. It's like they thought, hmmmn the Skoda is strong but it's really painful having to wait 3.5s to smack people for 900, let's just create similar well armoured hull down tank that can do the same but in one shot. Oh and let's let it rush to forward spots as fast as meds. This is already a problem on tier 10 with 260s, 277s, 5As etc. basically being as fast as meds (especially with turbos in the game), now we have similar on tier 8.

Tbh, i don't think this tank is that op as people claim. It has 2 cuppolas and quite easy to hit, overmatchable turret, good armor outside of that but with frontal fire, mediocre gun because of poor accuracy and gun dispersions+bad dpm, slow when not using the charges... Idk man, it is annoying to play against in corner fights with equal and especially lower tier tanks, but isn't that good overall. Yeah it has good hulldown capabilities and it's good at trading, but man, failing a shot with that 20 secs reload is frustrating. Imo, Skoda, 703 double barrell, Renegade etc, and also tech tree tanks like the Caernarvon or T32 are much better than this one overall. People are just overreacting at it as i see it, but this thing isn't very consistent. Is a one trick pony and not that great, we have quite a few better t8 heavies in the game.

War Gaming really creates a big issue when they release over powered premium tanks like this one, since they refuse to nerf premium tanks, so they will never be able to fix this tank so that it doesn’t have such a negative impact on the game.

Progetto 46, Bourrasque and this... makes it basically a matter of idiocy to play at anything below tier 9. Because even a Object 279e fully geared and crewed is nothing compared to this premium vs tier 6.

Honestly theyre broken. When top tier fighting tier 6s they completely dominate the game but when fighting things that it cant reliably pen theyre next to useless. When they are able to fight things (even higher tier things) that they can pen it just becomes a joke as you eat away 1/2 to 1/3 of their hp per shot with next to no punishment back.

Tier 8 FV4005 in a compact format with frontal armor, 10 degrees of depression and it can rocket boost in and out of position? I was allready getting sick of this game so this is enough for me to just quit. I was doing t110e5 and i was comparing and i got freaked out so tier 10 americn heavy has 205 turret armor with 254 hull with 400 avverage alpha and this chinese heavy has 330 turret armor wih 620 alpha and they are the same tier wih same role heavys so wtf is that why should we play oher tanks we can all just play 1 tank ... its so frustrating... and on top of that rocket boosters extra hp everything is crazy

Bz is no more broken than a skoda. Sure the roket boost is lets you make early plays that no other heavy can do, but skoda does 460x2 and i feel like has a more effective armor. I still hate facing skoda t56 more than anything else on tier 8. Also the bz armor is boxy and its good till 340 heat steps in the match and its all 100% auto aim pen. Skoda has spaced armor to give a chance to bounce 340 heat when hull down. Also take note that all the derp guns coming out now have much better pen and accuracy than their older counterparts. Almost as if wg knows that he rework compleatly fuckd over all derp tanks. Also i love this 5 Bz-176 matchmaking because i just drive around in a vk100.01p.

Never happened. World of Warships tried to nerf a premium two years ago, and we players tore the fora up. That killed it. Trust me, you never want to give a company the power to sell you a car and then change the engine and tires a month later.

In World of Warships the equivalent is the Tier V Giulio Cesare battleship with laser accurate guns and decent armour. In competitive ranked I got a 90*% win rate in it, consistently, and I am not a unicum player. That was the ship WoWs wanted to nerf, and all us players tore the forums apart.

Dang I might be the only person out there that thinks it’s only average. It’s just another “op premium” that after Christmas will die off and just be another tank that is not op that everyone said it was. Happens all the time. People say alpha is king, however the dpm is SO bad that it actually starts to matter, and you are constantly in situations just waiting to reload, and then hoping you hit and pen for 600-800 before waiting another 20 seconds. I do think that the ap should have more pen than the he, that is stupid imo, cause there should be a choice of more damage or more pen, but instead you have to choose the he which will troll you a lot more with spaced armor and tracks. Again I know I’m in the minority but just thought I would share my thoughts because I’ve seen literally no one make this case lol. By which it is the correct one by the way just saying. Also for people going all the way insane and saying it’s now the best tier 8 out there, have you forgotten about the borrasque and skoda t56? Cmon people.

The BZ is a dumb joke of a tank, but like many dumb jokes it can be funny at times. The rocket boost is fine in and off itself, but not on a tank like this, with the armor and the gun depression and the gun that can one shot tier 6's. Not opposed to rockets on the upcoming Chinese heavy line. Thankfully it looks like WG decided not to make them HE derp tanks with huge alpha.

it's not just that it's a derp that's the issue, I don't think shitbarns and 215b 183s are this broken because those tanks have so many drawbacks(speed armour etc) that not only are they easy to counter, but are also hard to do well in and overall frustrating which discourages a lot of people from playing them. This thing is just broken in terms of armour and mobility so there's not much to counter it, and it's not frustrating to play so every whale who spent money is gonna play it until they beach themselves in overlord map and die. Edit: I commented without watching fully but you also mentioned the same argument so me n daki outsource our braincells to the same jellyfish corporation apparently

I enjoyed this tank a lot when I tested it. It was great fun and as a heavy was right up my alley. I think as others have said, it will wear off once people have marked it and Ace'd it. Its just a bit of fun for me and hopefully others will enjoy it.

Very simple strategy by WG. This tank is designed bad players. I have seen 43% win rate player doing over 5000 dmg in this tank. The tank has armour and can do insane dmg and you do not need any skills in order to play it. One of the signs of dying game. If you want to play Caliban you need to think and have some skills. To play this one you need only a mouse and PC. Very sad. WG could have done skill based MM or put below average players on a different server and if they want to play in better teams they would have to complete sets of missions in order to pass to higher level.

To be honest I am surprised how much damage streamers are doing on this tank. I sometimes do go and make big ooopssies. But I very often have similar damage games to you and Skill from these recent videos of 3-5 k range. And I am quite average player. Usually for most other tanks I watch I don’t even score 1 in 5 games anything similar to you and skill average games. I think the skill factor might be quite low for this tank
