I just got off the plane in Wuhan China and headed downtown to see what I could find. I headed into the first massage shop I could find and declared myself a VIP -- and that I want the VIP treatment.
They gave me a foot massage, head and shoulder massage, a flame foot cupping, straight razor foot scraping/scrub, straight razor toe nail cutting, and sold me some foot creams that I apparently needed.
Some people may appreciate the massage ASMR experience of this video. Others will appreciate the cultural interactions. I hope you enjoy my travels and vlogs.

Sadly, that’s where this pandemic started. They seem like wonderful people. Jason, I saw you in another video about a month ago and you were in an airport with your mother, and you had just left Wuhan. I’m glad you left when you did and hope you are staying healthy. This video was interesting as I have never seen a straight razor used to remove dead skin like that, and also using it to cut your nails. That man really put everything he had into your massage too!

It’s hard to explain the relaxation derived from an excellent foot massage. My father was in government service and I grew up in the “Far East” in from the mid 1960’s thru 1970’s and enjoyed many of the legitimate pleasures offered in the various countries. How could you forget seeing a ceramic toilet fitted flat to the floor like that 😁 after coming straight off that long flight from NY. It must have been tough bending so far down in that awkward position trying to aim your poop into a bowl on the floor. I thought China was supposed to be more modern and advanced with toilet facilities compared to poor working class parts of India where you have to poop in a hole dug in the ground but it appears they are not. I couldn't believe that they had the audacity to charge you for foot creams after the chinese guy sliced off a chunk of your big toe nail far too close to your skin with that sharp blade tool making it bleed quite a bit geez that was uneasy to watch. They would have been sued for doing that in America but no there is no health and safety in china.

I am a Wuhan local, I often get mine feet washed. You are right, it is tea and other herbs which are good for your health and microcirculation. We can bought those herbs bags (like tea bags) online, but then no one can help me with the massage part at home. lol
