Just a friendly reminder, the entire UN army couldn't manage to beat a ragtag Chinese army that has to share rifles between every three person while the rest holds grenades, with no airforce. The Americans thought is an easy fight, but most of their army don't want to wage another war after WW2 while China after the founding of their nation just a year ago, is determined to defend their motherland since Korea is historical an easy invasion route into China.

Regardless of one like the movie or not the fact that the Korean War was fought between the People Liberation Army and the United Nations armies (about 20 something countries).The end result was the United States had to accept the 38 parallel as the border between the North Korea and South Korea. That was remarkable. Don’t forget The People Republic of China was just founded in 1949. The country had almost nothing compared to the American. Whereas the United States was the victor of the WWII. Talk about bravery, the Chinese Volunteer Army was truly brave.

But China had to pay a massive price of their lives against UN including US only just to Divide Korea. While US and the rest of the countries have only a few dozens of casualties and they didn't even try as hard as Pacific Theater This alone China have to give everything they've got while US & UN was not even pushing their economy against massive population China did achieved small things with a great price of their own lives... While UN's Goal Succesfully prevent North Korean and China to Invade South Korea to became Communist, but have to pay the price of their lives but not as many as Chinese have Remember Korean War is not start from America or United Nations aggresion, but North Korea itself the one who brought US and China

@@Ejecu-latte To the Chinese point of view the aggressor was the U.S. government. It invaded the North Korea and even bombed China. For survival, China had no choice but to fight. The one that divides the Korean to become one country was the United States. If it didn’t invade the Korean peninsula, Korea would have been one country. If there are no sanctions the united Korea would be as strong as the South Korea too.

Идея фильма очень хорошая. Однако, сцены боевых действий крайне далеки от реальности,с точки зрения физики. К примеру, вертолет, потерявший управление крутится вокруг оси слишком долго,от собственной тряски,руль должен был сместиться, из-за чего вертолет бы очень быстро поймал лопастями лёд. Авиабомба не смогла бы прыгать по льду, её вес очень большой,а шанс несрабатывания от удара о твердую поверхность очень маленький. И уж точно не смогла бы захватить на своем пути солдата так, чтобы он смог быть целым, слишком тяжелая, слишком быстро падает. При всем уважении к китайским товарищам (и приветом из России),но я чуть было не подумал,что это какая-то комедия.
