I love saying "thank you po" sa mga tindera, tricycle driver, security guard, sales lady, sa anak ko, etc....kasi kahit nakasimangot sila bigla silang napapangiti madalas may plus pang salamat and smile from them. :)

“Ikaw na nagbabayad ng gastusin pero palaging kulang”... Sobra sobra padala ko sa pamilya ko monthly, triple pa pag pasko pero di man lang ako maalala batiin pag bday ko, o merry xmas, ni di ako makamusta kung buhay pa ako. Makakaalala lang pag delayed ang remittance ko, after matanggap disappear ulit. When I got pregnant, I told them they need to help me help them, I wanted to give them a franchise business so they can earn money on their own pero galit pa. Pano ang gusto tumanggap lang, daig pa mga baldado. Pag may problema sila, problema ko rin. Pag ako may problema, problema ko lang. It happened one time wala akong pamasahe papuntang airport, aba, ang sabi lang sakin ng tatay ko “wala akong pera”! Nyeta, after lahat ng tulong ko di ako matulungan para makarating sa airport samantalang sila ang nakikinabang sa lahat ng kinikita ko dito sa abroad. Perfect example of ungrateful bastards that happened to be my family 😥

Chink Positive opo marami ako pinagdaanan sir chinky and although I turned out well after all that I was put through, nahihirapan ako magpatawad lalo na paulit ulit nila ako binabalewala. Ang relasyon ko sa pamilya ko eh pera lang, nothing else, masakit lalo na ngayon Im a mother too. I was able to just sweep everything under the rug for many years, but when I had my baby, it all came coming back to me and makes me angry. It triggered a depression for months now. I question myself “why does it matter now?” I thought napatawad ko na sila but the hurt is still here.

Hailey Candéza-Solano In my opinion its perfectly ok to help your family especially your parents when they are in need but hindi nila dapat iasa lahat sa tumutulong. A family should have one goal to succeed. Walang kanya kanyang agenda. In my case we lost our mom I was only 12, my brother was 10 and my youngest sister was 2. So I saw the need to help, I tried the best I could to provide for them but sadly iba ang agenda ng supposed to be padre de familia. As soon as I got my first full time job juggling with school, he checked out at nagbuhay binata pero ayaw kumayod. Ang hindi ko gusto sa kultura natin, a lot of parents see their children as collateral. I hate it whenever I hear someone say “paglaki ng mga anak ko, gaganda buhay ko”. NO! Its not their job, it is your job to provide, to make sure they get the best future they deserve, to make sure they have a fighting chance in life so when its their turn to become parents, they are capable to nurture and provide for their children. You bring a child into this world not to have the life that you want but to have a life that they deserve. Yan ang isa sa mga dapat mabago sa thinking ng Pinoy.
