Why is the drum line world renown and amazing but the woodwinds and brass are so so? If you could take this percussion and mix them with Broken Arrow, that would be something.

They basically put all their tech money into the drumline, getting John Mapes along with a good handful of other techs. And winds playing abilities just aren't as reliable as a drumline. Winds play to much and they ruin their chops, but a drumline plays a lot, and their chops develop further.
