Before Eminem, before 50Cent made "How to Rob." Chino used the same dissin' tactics on his first album in 1996. Cop that album. There wasn't any big time entertainer/rapper that Chino didn't dis. He ripped everybody including Tupac. LL Cool J didn't even respond to the hairline jokes, but Pac took that shit personal? Too bad for him. Chino responded to Hit Em Up like a real MC is supposed to. He's always been ill. I've been a fan for over a decade. Ain't shit changed.

he's hands down my favorite mc. almost everything he does is totally on point. in terms of lyricism and concepts, he's in another universe. his freestyles and ability to spit bar after bar of amazing shit make him crazy listenable and he's one of the few mcs who you can listen to and tell he's spitting from the heart and sort of get an idea waht he's really about. couple of his albums were shit but rip the jacker and for whom the beat tolls were total revelations completely ahead of their time

My number ONE rapper of ALL time. HIGHLY underrated. It's sad that this living legend is so-gett'n slept on. His metaphors were pre-eminem. his No complex/and no partner to swing that came out in 1995 was AHEAD of Em's style. Props on this dude. The BEST I've EVER heard.
