The moving of the microphone is because when he belts the higher notes it's louder than the lower notes. And if he has sounds that loud going into the mic the sound will get rather distorted

That's why he sounds whiny, (which was great for "AWTEW" but not so much for the last album) I'm so glad he's been replaced. I like the new singer and drummer, not a bad choice, Craig is still making music so I don't know why people are hating everywhere. Got to hang out with them on the second day of their tour with the Used, was way fun
