I REALLY hope Natlan introduces some more Geo support characters. Fontaine brought us Navia and Chiori, one of which only wants one Geo partner, and the other wants a full Geo team; but, neither do anything supportive for other Geo units. We basically just got damage. We just need that one Geo unit who consolidates support (healing, buffing, etc.) and does good damage. It's always one or the other with Geo.

Or have Hoyo realise they can make 4 stars too. They made Gaming to give Xianyun a DPS to buff but can't add more geo's that can give healing or shake up the element like Chevreuse. There's a giant ass dessert in Sumeru and not a single geo character with a sand based kit.

I have Itto and originally planned to pull Albedo but here comes the pretty Chiori. Imagine having Chiori and Albedo in Itto’s team with only C4 Gorou as a healer.

Congrats on making one of the best analysis I've seen on her! You showed the constellations and weapons and how they increase her damage and the rating part was the cherry on top. How you compared the different aspects of her kit with other characters while making it very pleasing to the eye, detailed and organized. I'm tired of watching other content creators do a "theorycraft"/analysis video just saying: her weapon is the best in slot, this other weapon is also good, and this one as well... Without showing any numbers or percentages :/ It feels like: trust me, bro

I have decided to go after Chiori. If someone should get her depends on their account but for most people no. I have a reasonable shot at c1 saved up in wishes and I will need her c1. I plan on using her as damage support for Noelle and Navia. My pre farming is almost done too. Weapon, artifact set, lv90, and 9-10-9 talents. Well narwhal boss drops permit.

Me too. My account is plenty strong already so I only seek fun. I've been wanting to go for mono-geo for a long time so this is a great chance for me to get both her, Itto and constellating Gorou, especiallu since I could not give a shit about Neuvilette, and the rest of the Fontaine gang. I see this as the perfect time to pick off the older characters I've been missing or constellating my long time mains before entering saving mode for Pyro Archon

I main Navia and not having geo archon, running gmc is a real pain. Therefor I pulled her :) Going for her C1 and then maybe her weapon when she reruns depending if I can hit her C1 this patch. Good luck ya'll pulling for her!

I never got Zhongli or Albedo, but Itto and Navia are some of my most invested DPSs, so when i saw Chiori's kit at first, i thought she was the unit I've been wanting for a while. She will raise the damage ceiling of Itto teams, and be a side grade to Albedo/Zhongli in Navia teams. I am getting her for sure. I already got a lot of stuff prefarmed for her (minus weapon materials. I do have guarantee on weapkn banner but not character), got a full set of golden trouppe and HoD at 90 waiting for her

Mono Geo is my most invested team, so adding another awesome Inazuma Geo character was a no-brainer for me. I agree that she is a 1/5 on many teams, 3/5 on any team with Zhongli, and 5/5 on Mono Geo, so I think that it should be stated that way rather than rate her 1.5/5. I clear domains faster than my hyperbloom team with Furina, Nahida, and Miko. She deserves some respect.

Just a correction on the A1 passive. Yes, normal attack grants geo infusion, but it's using the skill that switches the current character, not jumping. Other than that, great video as always!

Only at C1. Since Navia doesn't create a construct, Chiori's dmg falls off hard without a second doll. And 3x Geo Navia teams will just be inferior to her regular 2x Geo teams that just use Albedo instead.

I WOULD pull for her because I’ve been working on a mono geo team for ages - and I LOVE her design, but I’m saving for Arlecchino. So maybe on her rerun 🤔 I know she’s not a great pull, but I’m in that late game phase where I can pull for who I want as I have most characters in the game now.

Got her recently, by luck , Tried without knowing much with that team : Gorou , Chiori , raiden , xinqiu . And this is quite solid to me . She is not at all a 0 for defensive utility , with her quickswap and offield puppet , she can generate a lot of shield potential . She is mid and almost useless if one see her as a damage dealer . She is sub dbs , offield shield provider , extra quick swapper , plunge enabler . Quickswap into raiden ult with shield and res++ feels very nice . Arlechino should also work well somewhere in that team ( Gorou , Chiori , raiden , arlechino or gorou ,chiori , arlechino ,xinqiu/yelan) Feels way better to generate shields while attacking than losing time going to a shielder, generate shield and so on ...

I remember I saw a video talking about the characters lately (excluding archons) feels like they purposely make their constellations feel more like requirements rather than add-ons to make the characters even stronger. Basically making them niche on purpose, and their C1 or C2 feel like a need to have a 'complete' kit. This would probably be fine if it's like 4 stars but for 5 stars... Oh but Neuvillette is an exception apparently 😂😂 I still pull for characters I like (I'm a husbando collector after all so I'll pull for all the male characters) but I'm not sure if anyone else also feel like this is the issue too lately.

I think she's a character Geo wants, but not the one it needs right now. The options for constructs is so piss poor, i dont know what they were thinking. This makes her the THIRD geo character in a row that does NOT create a construct. I'll pass on her until they show they actually know what the hell they are actually going to do with Geo as an element.

fr fr Construct itself is absolutely dogshit to play with, I love Geo chara but goddamn the construct in this game is mid at best and at worst is a real pain in the nut I can still 9 star abyss even with Albedo and Ningguang on abyss 12 both chamber but it was just too much effort for no return

@zeromailss yeah, i like the geo characters too, and I think geo constructs in concept is pretty cool. But their execution has been horrible. Ningguang and Itto are the only ones that don't screw with your own movement, and Ushi is the only one that doesn't break the moment a boss stubs their toe on it. Constructs needed an overhaul before adding a character that requires a construct, smh.

I wish her c5 increased her NA instead of burst. The burst does little damage regardless of playstyle, but c6 really unlocks her normals. No one stops at c5 so c5 being NA booster makes way more sense.

As a long time Geo fan I want to like her but I can't, such a shame edit: I still think C6 Noelle is better than C0 Itto cuz she can generate shield and heal the team while dealing similar dmg. Gorou, Chiori, Albedo, Noelle should be her strongest team at c0 and Navia at C1. Itto has the advantage of cons but that's about it, only simp would go that far for mid meta chara.

Usually I would be happy that they would finally give us room to breath and save our primos. And seeing all the problems she has for no good reason...she was intended to be skipped and but into standard. But then the new banner format came and they withdraw that. She truely is Dehya 2.0 ... but worse since Dehya is more flexible and since Chevreuse...really not that bad anymore. Why do sometimes the good designed units get the worst treatment?

I was surprised how the tone of the video went from her damage is pretty good into 1.5 rating and a slight dmg increase over Albedo If i may ask though at C2 you said she is the best off-fielder in the game, does that compression include reaction like vape or aggravate or none reaction dmg just raw multipliers ?

So she's a good pull if you're building a mono-geo team, but otherwise no. I can see why they put Itto next to her. The problem is the two characters following her. Kazuha can work in almost any team, and Neuv is a force of nature all by himself. Cash conscious players will wait for the sure thing in terms of account value.

so basically, in order to unlock chiori's dmg output you need to build a whole team around her. that's normal for many characters but her lack of flexibility is making it a hard task. my advice to new or casual players is to not pull for a niche character if they can't already make this character shine in their account. a.k.a it's gonna be a hassle to pull for albedo/ itto/ zhongli just to get your chiori to do something. and don't forget to ask yourself ''is this really a level up for my account?'' because i have zhongli, navia and ning perfectly build but i just don't need chiori...anywayyy bye :P

I love Chiori's character design, but her kit, while not bad but it's a bit "restrictive", since she wants geo contructions (unless you go hard for that prestigious C1). And because I don't have this team archetype, she'd be benched in my account and that is sad. So unfortunately she's a skip for me. Anyways, waiting for Alecchino
