The two very people that inspired my son and daughter -in-law to remuddle the 100 year old home on our farm, they videoed (imitating Chip and Joanna) tearing out walls and pitching original woodwork onto a bonfire. They didn't even ask or let me know the plans of the unauthorized renovations because they were so enthralled by FIXERUPPER, that my son was so busy following his wife's "visions" that he neglected his work on the farm during the winter months and was absent from his day job until he was fired as a hired hand on our farm. They were given several months utilities paid free rent and moved out finally leaving behind full burn barrel, a pile of ashes, nails and hinges and door knobs all thanks to Chip and Joanna.

they renamed the DIY Network the Magnolia Network and established an entire new roster of shows - that are AWESOME!.. It launched on Discovery + streaming channel last summer and then was added to the traditional cable network options this month.

Once they left , after awhile I lost interest. This happens when a lot of shows leave for awhile. Why the Gaines wanted others to become their shows is not very interesting. So I don't want to watch, and showing their older renovations are like, been there, done that. So I haven't watched and frankly I don't miss it.

I’m going to just say this. I’m not impressed with Joanna Gaines behavior. I am becoming very disinterested in their shows because of her narcissistic behavior. She’s ruining Chip’s fun personality. She puts her boy’s down on national tv, making fun of them . Drake, about arm wrestling, marriage counseling with Chip. Chip’s fun antics made the show good to watch because it was different from the rest of all the other home Reno shows. Now, his personality is becoming like the rest of the other home Reno shows. Angry and serious. All the husband and wife duo’s are the same. Wife has to be in control. No fun at all. Putting down their partners on public tv. It’s so sad to watch. I’ll continue to watch the reruns only.

I actually thought this was going to be a good Network but after seeing they brought back "Home Work" I will not be watching. I personally have been financially put in a hole by a weasel contractor. I did my homework and it still wasn't good enough. What they did is nothing short of being thieves. I'm completely disappointed in Magnolia & can see they are no different than any other network. It's all about the $$ and screw all you little people out there. SHAME ON MAGNOLIA NETWORK!
