Think very few people are appreciating how Chip replicated Dave & Stormzy's exact flow with the 'one' rhyming scheme, the unfinished bars "I was clashing n**** on--" similar to Dave's bar " My apprentice tryna give Alan Sugar, there's no way I can-" and Stormzy's " I can wear a different kettle every day of the month from a different-", and obviously the Headie one adlib. Chip has an unbelievable understanding of music, one of my faves ever to touch the mic.

Exactlyyyy! That drop off with “I was clashing n** on-“ automatically made me fill in the gap with ‘dr-gs’ reinforcing the statement that Stormzy sniffed. But then he also alludes to them riding on ‘bus’ earlier, meaning we now have a TRIPLE ENTENDRE!! (And that’s just one bar) Chip’s level of lyricism is HONESTLY worth studying… especially since he wrote this in a few hours 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️. The more you think about/reflect on the song, the more phenomenal as an artist he becomes.
