I used a blowtorch lighter on an old motherboard chip. I was succesful, but under the microscope it showed the die suffered from heat damage in some places. As a private individual, I can't buy concentrated sulphuric/nitric acid in my country. Every company just doesn't sell to private individuals in concentrations above 3%.

I use nitric acid at work/ is there a faster way to get it done without damage to the die?

Need at least 70% Nitric acid and to have the chip package heated to about 100°C or more
