Xia’s not funny or even that interesting, but she plays off Chip really well by going along with every ridiculous thing he says and keeps the show moving smoothly. She’s like Opie if he didn’t try to ruin funny bits. She knows her place.

Xia adds no humour, so she's a write off, that leaves it to Ant and the other guest, since Norton's playing Chip and that doesn't add a lot of humour, it sets others up for humour. This week, the void of Ant and the other comedian is very apparent, even before the tape starts rolling.
