@ My era was more the 90's read along tapes. What was interesting though was some started off with just a narrator introducing the story, plus there were sounds and music, whilst others started and ended with little music themes. Some also had songs from their respective films on them. I also remember a few ditties I can't even find anymore! There was a Paddington tape once and I remember it havin a song where you had to shout Paddington's name. I can't find any of this anywhere. Although, this was from the UK though.
