One of my favourite mix setups is updashRC off low rekka into jd. If they block you can press dash button jh or empty low. If the jd hits you get a 2s combo. I love your work Roku, Chipp army unite.

You are good. This is like my second vid. I have a good one you might already have. In corner chips 6k, confirm to Roman cancel up, dash to wall run(, holding run), s, s, s, s, 6h. Simple but fun wall run combo.

With QCF P in the corner you can hold it longer and press HS to get a left right mix, ofc its a risk but if you condition someone enough its a neat L/R. I think you can only go into 2K>2D but from there you can QFC S RC into combo. Great video BTW thanks for showing safe I could never find one.

I didn’t know I could hold punch or kick to wall climb, I just hold forward after the alpha blade and it works for me. I feel holding forwards is a bit easier but still cool you can do it both ways!

Just got into playing gg after I bought it the other day. Chipp was the first character I put my eyes on and I've loved him ever since. I love jumping in faking them out. Jumping again and doing dk into some nasty combos. And im appreciating your videos. Can you do one on some neutral game with him? Sometimes it's hard to get in on farther reaching characters

I'm new to 2D fighting with GGS and your videos have helped a lot! I've got a couple of Chipp's combos down to muscle memory, but I'm really struggling with just getting in and opening them up. Learning my own defense as well as how to get through opponent's defense has been really hard. Is there a good way to practice that kind of stuff without just getting destroyed in live matches?

I just don’t understand that game, I’m new on the licence and pretty much into fighting games, but I don’t really like the fact that some characters « works well » on some others (sorry for my English lol, hope to be understood) like ramlethal is fucking God like on chipp, crazy range and pretty fast, I tried so many different things I just don’t know how to get on her. That game is well balanced or it’s just a crazy wtf game lol ? And thanks for the videos, I’m learning nice stuff with chipp !!

It is well balanced but like any fighting games there is specific match ups that some characters win or not. For Ram, she is just straight up broken you have to punish her by letting her do a mistake. Don't even try to contest the air against her, just enter the best way you can with mix ups and pressure and settle your own game.

Any suggestions on punishing May's Great Yamada Attack? I haven't had much luck against it.

If her backs to the wall and your close, block it then you can run up and punish with anything you like. If she's mid screen then you can just run up to her, it'll actually go over you and you won't get. Id practice it in training mode because it is technically possible to try to run under it to early and get hit.

Can someone explain what the mixup is off the 5k fast rc into either js or jd combo route? I'm not seeing what the other guy has to do differently to block the two fast rc options he showed.

I think the one you mean is 6K+ fast RC, basically what you do is right after you RC you buffer jS or jD for the double overhead

@@Rokushen Yeah, so the part that I'm confused about is if you're going for a double overhead mixup, doesn't one of the options you're mixing up between have to be a low? Otherwise they can just always standing block can't they?

@@chinarep1 you could go for 2K after the fast RC if you instead of cancelling to S or D you use HS, then the move will be an empty jump because how close you are from the ground, and then you go do the 2K for the low. question sensei. how does the horizontal alpha blade cross up works? what i know from it is that the closer you are, the more it will crossup and the farther away you get after the hit/block but is there some indication if it will be a cross up or not?

Essentially you gotta know on which distance it will cross up. The closer you are from your opponent, the less punishable it is on block and the further away the more punishable it is on block.

Is it viable to do this blockstring: 2s-2h-K alpha blade. Then follow up with jhs or jump j2k?

It's viable as long as you mix it up with other things. If you repeat it over and over then they will read it and punish you accordingly

The clone will get hit if the opponent pokes so the mix is not there with the shadow clone unfortunately :(

I can't for the life of me get cS->2S->2H to hit after CH 6H. The 2S always whiffers. Edit: Nvm, you just delay the 2S. This combo hard af tho, I see the need for the time card.

You have to do a slight delay on the 2s to let the opponent fall s bit to reach it. If after that you have s hard time getting it on the next vid I'll get into more details on how to do it
