I don’t understand why folk don’t burn pine. If seasoned properly. Pine doesn’t leave behind all the creosote Folks talk about. Just gotta feed the stove more often. If those Vermeer’s weren’t $30,000 used. I’d buy one.

At some point I will own one but not for a while. When I get the kiln build will probably burn the slabs to help heat the kiln.

What kinda kiln you plan on building? I was thinking of doing a solar kiln. Only b/c I don’t have power anywhere on the property.
