amazing and informative video, thank you! I am from New Jersey and we are closing on a home on may 25th in Surry, VA not even 5 minutes from chippokes state park so I was really excited to see your video. We can’t wait to get away from our densely populated town.

Good luck with the move. Chippokes State Park is one of our favorites. There are some other great things to do in the area, too. If you like wineries, check out Summerwind which is just a few minutes from Chippokes.

Thanks for sharing, was the beach you went to on the trail part of the campground and easy to get to?

The beach area is along the College Run Trail. It is a relatively easy walk from the campground. The trail starts at visitors center and goes to the farm area of the park. On our last visit in October 2020, there had been some storm damage to the bridge that is on this trail. We started our hike from the farm area instead which made it a longer walk than it would normally be.
