I have enjoyed watching your videos you are an excellent teacher. You go step by step explaining and showing us every detail of the wig. Your demonstrations are so helpful when deciding which wig is the best choice for yourself. You look great in every wig you try on. (Lucky girl) In my opinion , the best color and style for you is the first wig. It is so becoming on you. I'm dating my self, but we called this hair cut the Dorothy Hamill . It was all the rage after Dorothy won the gold medal in figure skating in the 1976 Olympics. . Everyone had their hair( if possible) cut in the Dorothy Hamill style.

This was perfect. I was looking for longer straight wigs with bangs, but finding them in gray or salt and pepper is proving to be a challenge. Thanks for showing Lacy--it looks like she might have a grayish option that could work!

I’m a new subscriber to your channel and new to wigs due to thinning hair. I’m kind of overwhelmed and don’t know where to start, the first steps to take, or what style or type of wig to consider. I bought a couple of synthetic wigs but they are very shiny and don’t look very natural. I was told by a wig retailer that my first wig style should be closest to how I currently style my bio hair. Do you agree?

You can tap down the shine by washing them in cool water and a small amount of white vinegar. The quick way is to spray dry shampoo on it or baby powder. My first few wigs I bought I ended up sending back. While I was buying a similar blonde to my bio hair, I was buying wigs that were way more hair than I naturally ever had, even as a teenager. Once I bought one that was the closest to the last style that I really liked, and had less density, I fell in love with wearing wigs.

I can not be the only woman with a large head - it has been very difficult to find wigs in large size that are nice. I liked the silkiness & the non-bulkiness 14:46 of the fibers you featured in this video. By the way, you look wonderful in every style.

I too take a large size in wigs. You are right...we don't have very many choices. I like them full and at least put the shoulders. You can get super curly..and stick straight. Please see if designers will update!!❤❤❤

Hi Amanda, love your website, your so cheerful. I got frontal alopecia and i am not to bad but its taking me a long time to get the confidence up to wear the wig. I am at the stage i need to start wearing every day. I have a petite head as well and i got 2 wigs, one chiquel, Zara, its very boffy on me, also had to have 7 " cut off it as i am 66. Getting it thinned a bit to look bit better n try to get confidence. I was wondering you said another colour that was the same as 12FS12 malibu blonde, as i need to get a lower denisty one. Your videos are fantastic. Really appreciate the honesty in your review on each one. I agree with so many of the others in that you look great in all the wigs you try on. The current hairpiece I wear has silicone that provides a secure fit for someone that has alopecia. It stays with no movement and doesn’t require clips or tape. Do you know of any wigs that have silicone as a secure feature? Also, I love a shag style, medium to short length. My hair color is a dark brown/ black color. I’m able to use my own sideburns. Do you have any videos showing shags with dark brown hair with bangs and a natural part? I will be so looking forward to your answers. Thank you.

I don’t think there’s a hair color you don’t look beautiful in. I’m serious! I love the look of Tori but the color of Lacy. I had my hair cut like Tori but the top blonde and the bottom back razor cut in black. It looked so good and I got a lot of compliments. My hair is baby fine to begin with and started thinning especially at the crown when I lost my only son. It was a horrible stressful time for me. More stress over the years with my husband’s health still ongoing. Anyway I need to check into Tori and her available colors. New Florida sub! You’re so sweet! 😊🙏🏼❤️

As long as you are wearing a size that fits, it will stay on! They have adjusters at the nape to loosen or tighten it. You can also wear a wig grip to help keep it in place if needed. 😊
