Fame is insane and with the trust issues jenni had already made it hard. Being that jenni and her eldest daughter had been through hell with her father, Jenni should know her daughter wouldn’t do such a thing to hurt her mom. These children have suffered so much from the choices that Jenni had to make through the years. I love her dearly and her music touches my heart, but I kinda wish she stayed a real estate agent and sang on the weekends. Her heart was so huge I couldn’t understand why she didn’t listen to her child instead of some random skank trying to ruin her relationship with her daughter. After seeing the Netflix series it has changed my thoughts about Chiquis. I know we all will never know the whole exact truth but it changes my point of view on her. Jenni could’ve left with her kids indefinitely from her first abusive relationship and her children wouldn’t have seen and gone through all that trauma. Even though she provided, she relied very much on chiquis to care for her children which was actually her job as a mother. Providing financially is not the same as being there physically and emotionally. Very sad to see the pain Chiquis went through alone when she was always there for her mother and siblings.

Theirs was always such a weird relationship. Jenni had chiquis when she was 15, so they grew up having a mother/daughter relationship that was at times maybe more like an older sister/younger sister relationship, AND they had a business relationship on top of that. First we all die eventually, but to continue to say that to a loved one was like a fucked up prophesy that eventually came to pass! I believe Jenni knew subconsciously she was going to die before she was old, that’s one of the reasons she stalled her fame, and the the big reason is her father shamed her as a child and he shouldn’t have done that she was a child who does that to their children?!
