YaY! Giant Tree House! Thank you for all the time you spend on these projects; I'm not a great builder, but, because of you, I'm a better builder. Have an awesome weekend.

That's a cool project, can't wait to see more of it. I started a tree house project myself, but got distracted by another one. Maybe I'll get inspired to go back to it once I see your version. :D

This is great. I love the detailed explanation and showing your thinking and actual steps. Thanks for taking the time to show us your proces. Also to build your own tree in the same area would be very interesting as a comparison 🤩

@@J.e.r.o.e.n glad you enjoyed it!! Yah I’m thinking of doing my own tree to be a small / cozy tree so it won’t be as big but could be fun to see how it turns out, and of course you can always take the same concept and scale it bigger :)

@@Chiselchip these trees are so huge, if you want to build the same size you will probably have to quit your job 😂

Cool build! Can't wait to watch as it grows :) I had not realized just how massive the Blackmire trees are!! If I am not mistaken, when you overlap blocks, the quantity of resources that are consumed is reduced (e.g. if you had the full 8m blackmire bark terrain placed and you placed another halfway overlapping, I think the new one placed halfway overlapping would actually only consume half of what is listed for the mat consumption for the 8m blackmire bark blueprint). So it will only consume the actual quantity of blocks that will end up actually showing (anything overlapping is not consumed). Hope I am making sense!
@Chiselchip4 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yah the overlapping is something that I didn't explain much in the video, but you'll notice that I overlap them by about one block, because all it take is a tiny bit of overlap to cut the resources in half but you don't have to overlap the full halfway. It's kinda finicky with terrain blocks compared to normal blocks and blueprints haha

@@mariajromaley I probably spent a solid 5-6 hrs planning that, mostly because I’m a perfectionist 😄 but I want to challenge myself with this project to just build for fun and not worry about the exact placement of things, but it felt necessary to have a solid plan to start at least :)

It looks like it is time already for the devs to incorporate elevators 😂 EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw minute 21:12. I haven't finished the video, but another idea could be to add grapple points all around the tree, so you go up in a circular motion around the tree from the outside.
