I still play Clash of Clan's every once awhile. But I did start Zooba again too. Mainly because I lost my account somehow, and never got the character's back. But even in Zooba I get new Character about 1/4ratio when opening gold or silver chests. Today I played 8 games in Squad Buster's and idk if it's because player's have become toxic and bored or what, but I got killed 4 times in starting zone. The. I tried getting 1 fused Shelley and Tank, and run to middle, I'll give you 2 guesses if I made it to the tank. In 1 day this game became not necessarily harder to play but tactics wise way different. Now new META is to go kill your neighbor before he's too strong.

Coins should only be spent on tickets, keys and dice, everything else is wasted money. The 9h recharge is not a big problem, after all the games last 4 minutes and this means that on average you have 12 minutes + n minutes of the tickets, so if you buy 3 more tickets (6k coins) you play 24 minutes which is a lot in a game like this. I think they could add a tier-based incremental chest reward, just to help those who are at high levels and not have rewards for those who are just starting out in the game.

Either 1. The game is too pay2win 2. it lacks the same quality as other games eventhough it is addicting 3. Clash mini people hate bombing it 4. The game only has 1 mode. It is addicting but I can see why people can get bored. Even more when the controls are also very simple and limited. (Edit: yes the mode has many different modifiers but it is still 1 mode at it's core)

Though others are true the main is it’s too pay to win and. Lets say I want to play 10 games a day. I have to wait for those chest tokens or pay 6k coins. I mean pay2win again. I get gems for playing lets say I play without chests I end up at a higher world with smaller level troops again not fun. So a full pay2win game from supercell. Deserved the backlash, game is great but the amount of greed deserved it.

Man this game is definitely not p2w, let me demonstrate you. I have been playing every day since it released on May 29th and I have right now 6 characters at super level (Level 3). If I manage to get all characters at super level one month after release (I have some that are less than 10 babies away from super level) I could say that then, in only one year I would be able to max out. Because I don't really think they will release the fifth level that soon. It will take a long time. This game is beautiful... I also like Brawl Stars and have been playing it since October 18th of 2019, have bought many brawl passes and only have half of the brawlers maxed out (With both gadgets, star power, and at least the two gears, and some with its hypercharges, I think I have like 12 hypers which is a really low number because at this point I think almost half brawlers have a hypercharge) and I can estimate that with no buys of passes I will be able to max out my main account of Brawl Stars in 3 years maybe, while Squad Busters being brand new will just take me 1 year. I think this game is brilliant and the way to play good is just not clear. To have advantages and be ready to play like to face a squad you need these things: 1. Start by picking up many chests, not lose time defeating tiny robots or skeletons. (Preferably choose Globin) 2. Try to first get the fast DPS characters such as Bo or Colt to deal easily with the Robots and get many coins and gems early. 3. When choosing characters, try to stick with a couple of them, like 4 or 5. If I have 2 Goblin, one Colt, one Nita and one Mavis I wouldn't want to take a Greg if rather than that I would like to choose another Colt. 4. When having 2 copies of a character already, try to choose another one to have the fusion and reduce the cost of the chests, this is something that you should really look forward to. 5. And lastly, of course variate your Squad, if you have a Fusion Bo, one Colt, two Goblins and a Medic, it is so necessary to choose a tank character because otherwise when battling they will delete your long range attackers, and not only have like 4 long range attackers and one El Primo for example, but have like 2 Fusion Colts, one Fusion Barbarian and two Barbarian Kings, that would go nicely well.

They need to make new characters easier to unlock, make the progression feel faster and the biggest problem rn(according to a lot of people i saw): They need to make new gamemodes. Modifiers are cool, but most people i have seen say the game is the same every match because the gamemode is always just to get as many gems as possible. Every chest should have one free reroll. And busting squads will give better keys as the game progress. First 1 minutes - free chest key, Middle 2 minutes - epic key, Last 1 minute - fusion key. Randomizing the units you get from chests is nice, but sometimes it will have units that I didn't unlock yet, at the same time unlocking new units is hard as hell. I'm at royal world I have six rares except wizard. The five rares of squad always have wizard. I've 4 epics. Some chests will give me choice of choosing a common, a wiz that I don't have, and an epic that I don't have. What else can I pick other than that common. Unless you unlocked all the units your squad may contain the one unit you don't have. In July new units are coming. As new units come it will be in the Randomized squad. When opening chests and seeing a unit you don't have is irritating. Which makes me feels like this game is pushing me to spend some money. Some time my Randomized squad is filled suppliers. Sometimes It will have Greg, Mavis, Trader, Bo, Barbarian. All this commons are dead weight in later game. Paying coins to continue win streak. It feels like if spend money you can have 3 strikes in boxes. It's just 5k for P2W players. For F2P it's almost worth of 3 tickets. I have a feeling the next July update is gonna be just the new world, new units and some busted megas. These problems will be taken care of in the later updates. Also this game don't have a solid revenue system. Brawl stars, COC , Clash royale have skins as a revenue making system. Even Clash mini had that too. Other than season pass how are they generating revenue. Maybe deals in the shops? But every game has deals. I want this game to succeed but I don't think I can continue play this game until then.

Yeah. While the main objective of the game is to get gems and isn't to fight...I still think you should get rewarded with higher tier keys by busting a squad in the later game. After all, you'll probably lose some troops yourself in the battle, and troops matter more in the late game.

I hate not having every character play able. The random rotation per game is so unfun. If they make it so you can play all of them it would be way better. Then increase the chance of getting the same character if you already have it for fusions. Also more modes are needed

Well the rotation is what keeps it interesting and allows strategies to be made (like trader and suppliers) which makes winning a battle of who has the best game plan and strategize. I do get where you’re coming from because you probably get your first 3 star or smth and the rotation keeps giving the wrong unit then it can be annoying . And for modes I definitely agree we need more because there is no benefit for playing with friends.

I think mainly the economy is broken. The game is progressively harder after early stage at first you have fun compete for top 3 then just trying to keep top5 is a drag. As someone who won't be playing again, I can tell you that it's simply not a fun game. The controls feel awful because you have to constantly stop and go to do anything. I don't know how this got to be the core mechanic in this game since they've had to remove it from their own games in the past because people didn't like it, like with Jacky's old super or the old healing gear in brawl stars. There's no strategy when it comes to fighting anyone else directly because you're either stronger than them or you're weaker than them. It's too easy to run away from someone by spamming the boost button, and it's hard to finish people off because they can just stand by some boxes and keep adding people to their squad while you take them out. You have basically no control of your units when they're fighting. You can't play with your favorite characters consistently because everything's randomized. There's only one game mode and not a lot of room to add more. Even if they add new modes you are playing with the same characters every time so there's little variation in the gameplay. Busting people isn't satisfying and being busted is rage-inducing. There are too many bots. There are other reasons, but the fact that the game at its core is so bad makes it unlikely that it'll get better. The only reason it even has a second star is because it has Supercell characters in it. If the game didn't have that to rely on, it would've probably been killed already.

It would be boring as hell to play with the same characters every round. There are a couple of flaws to the game though. But overall it is a fun game to play casually.

I had caught a stream of yours a couple days ago and was pretty disappointed when I saw all the clear and frequent key use up in the higher ranks. Not to mention how crazy some of the ultra tier unlocks are compared to their 3 stars like barb king and the super rage Seeing your explanation here though makes total sense now and honestly the frustration with the key system is across the entire player base not just f2p and that's a reassuring thing to see. I hope supercell does hear the player base out and rethink their approach to monetization but until then I'm glad the few creators who do cover this game are passionate enough to make well structured videos like this and try to change the rising tide for the good of the game's future

Squad busters really feels like it needed more time in the oven. I already stopped playing but I would come back if they polish it more 1. The whole item box system is completely awful. Buying keys and using them mid battle to get more chests is simply a bad game mechanic. Seems like a feature that should’ve been removed in the beta; not sure why its still in the game. 2. Megas… I know they already lowered their appearance rate to like 1% but its simply one of those features that also should’ve been removed or reworked in beta. I saw a suggestion of making megas like your primary hero; and at the start of each battle everyone gets to pick their mega and build the team around it. We’ll see what they do with megas. 3. The gamemode feels very barebones. Like a testing phase to work out the kinks in… beta. The game definitely has the potential to add more fun modes and get creative. The mod system feels like an “excuse” to keep playing the same mode over and over. Well, to be fair, in most games with a mod system it always feels like they took the easy way out instead of making actual gamemodes. So yeah, squad busters feels lacking in its structure/core. They shouldn’t have rushed global because it is very noticeable it needed more time in the oven (beta)

One of the core mechanic of the game. Is character's. Even that is hard to get you'll probably always gonna end up with barbarian and the heroes you have before. Yeah it can have a benefit of getting dupe's but lets not forget that getting a new character is also a point.

I think reworking the pass would be a good idea. Instead of getting mega unit over and over again at the end, how about replacing it with chests. Like 1k gems for a chest and maybe a small chance of getting a rare or epic chest. It would help to progress a little bit more and people would play the game more because they can grind for progression. In my eyes the biggest problem is that f2p players are out of gold a lot quicker and there is nothing really to grind for extra progression, so they have to wait for the free chest tickets.

For duos they should make to there is a max squad limit and both players can split up with what the units they bought and when they come together if one of the squads has 2 goblins for example and the other has 1 then it fuses them

I had been paying for the game until get busted 4 times straight within 20 seconds of game. In the beginning of the game, other player just attacked me and busted me out. That is just pure by random luck. Unless you want a total pay to win for every game, you will be crushed. So I delete the game after playing from the release.

I tried posting this on reddit but it got removed for containing the word "event", since the rules prohibid recruting but 30% of posts are people asking for piñata buddies This is my opinion on all that I could think about the game. If you have any opinion/idea feel free to discuss A) Progression/Shop/Pass F2P progression: As of now progression feels decently passed. If you consider having every character at "Super" form, which requires 100 copies of each, that at least seems very reasonable. Evolving characters: "Super" feels like the mid high resting point for progression, since it jumps from 100 to 1000 copies. I do consider that as of now progression might feel better than later bc of its game launch (extra resources) and again unlocking the super form of different characters. Considering the current MAX point which is the 4 star version of each characters it is way too slow and it will be a long time before you can even get one. Again its a f2p game and hopping to get everything maxed is almost unreal. New characters: As of now I feel chance of new characters is way too low. I do understand that the game is "supposedly" helping you by not unlocking new things until you evolve others, this also plays into the tickets vs character points the game wants you to spend coins on them directly. I would have a problem with this is the game at least made it so you had 5 of each rarity at least , which means you will always have all option in a chest in game, but its no that big of a deal (this also makes you wanna spend rerolls if you get 2 locked and a bad character from a chest). There is also a chance for directly getting 2 or even 3 star/tier characters from chests bad the chance is WAY too low to even take into account. Tickets vs Characters: The two options of spending coins for progression are directly buying copies or tickets and supercell made a really smart move on this. As most people now buying characters is a TERRIBLE deal vs tickets. This lets you make a choice, siphon a ton of coins instantly to unlocked a character vs tickets, but tickets require playtime which is a win-win for supercell, hamper progression or keep you playing. Streaks: tying performance to progression is both genius and cruel. Will the idea of a streak that you can show off is cool that fact that you can pay to keep it infinitely is dumb. If you want streaks as cosmetic it should be A) pay to keep it only once B) It looks different if you pay for it (Color) C) it tells you 100 streak - kept X times D) tells you both total and current un paid streak. this is probably not gonna happen tho, paying to keep a streak is also a smart market psychological move to make you spend resources. Will yes keeping streak helps in progression, 5k for keeping 3+ rolls vs 3 tickets (+1k coins) is dumb, specially if you consider that you can play without tickets to make a streak first but this requires time investment (such as tickets vs characters). Keys/Rerolls: Not really much to say, this is obviously awful p2w. Creates an environment in which since winning is tied to progression you also are incentivised to use these to win mid game, and if you dont you might meet someone that does and busts you bc they have a way bigger squad thanks to spamming keys. I have seem people say that it should be fine as comeback mechanic but honestly no, see next point Megas: Another p2w consumable, the difference is that this is a comeback mechanic already, unlike keys which you can even use while in a lead. This is still bad, if you think in any situation in which you are behind enough to need a mega is your fault 90% of the time (only case I can think off is someone deciding to chase you early so you both lose time). Making so you can get absolutely ahead with a busted unit bc you were behind is dumb, specially since A) you can get them might fight B) you can abuse them by farming coins and not getting chests until after a minute to force the game into giving you a mega and then start buying chests Pass: This is of course the best deal for light spenders, the deal I think is decent but not that good. p2w consumables aside, you get 100k coins + 6 tickets (which are 56 chests total), 3 rare and 4 epic chests and a unit of choice (that you have ALREADY unlocked tho) at super (aka 100 copies). My only complain in those is the already unlocked unit for the choice but is not that big. My biggest problem is how at the end of the pass you get Mega units for extra levels. This is honestly really bad and should be at least common chests / 1k coins or something else since megas offers you 0 progression (like brawlstars where you get star drops at least) Events (Tara cards and mage spells): The events feels nice, if they weren't normally unreachable. For mage yes you can keep playing without tickets to do the 280 spells to unlock a new spell but we know playing without tickets feels bad. In case of tara the 12 chests challenge is dumb since it requieres you to buy tickets (12 hours is not enough even if you had 3 tickets unspent already), for now this is fine but then you will have no coins and the event becomes uncomplete-able. This also creates a possible negative feedback, some players might say, well im not gonna play/use tickets until the event pops up so I can spend my tickets and coins more efficiently which reduces a lot of concurrent playertime The future of progression: As of now the current end goals seems way far but foreseeable. however we now the future already. Tier 5 characters and Different rarities are the obvious future, 1000 copies for a 4-star/tier 4 is a lot but "feasible", 10k copies for a tier 5 is crazy. Some tier 4s are already crazy good (Super rage from Barb king), having a tier 3 vs tier 4 disadvantage is bad but still playable, but tier 3 vs 5 is gonna be crazy unless tier 5s dont differ too much which supercell wont do. A new legendary rarity might be fine as long as its balanced but getting a legendary to 3 might be way too slow probably (which I consider the reasonable end goal for f2p/low spender). This also come back to point B6. B) Pre-game / team composition Choice of characters: As of now you have 0 control over what characters you enter a game with. This is a taste choice for the most part and as of now and as long the game is reasonably balanced I consider a decent state, even if I rather run a specific set up (god forbid supercell locks team choice behind paywall/consumables). Strategy and modifiers: Not choosing characters almost locks you unto a strategy for the game, until the modifier is revealed, which I enjoy modifiers but they can reinforce that strategy, allow you to change it and sometimes might as well screw you over if your choices dont synergize (low dmg commons in a npc spawn like loot goblins/moles/gifts). Choosing vs random teams: My next 3 points are all intertwined a lot. Would the game be better if you could choose characters pre game= my answer is probably, specially taking into account that at some point you better characters (more evolved) will not be in rotation. Everyone with the same choices or not: Personally I would rather all 10 players be in the same conditions in terms of character choices, it would be more skill expressive, and would still allow for supercell to make the game easier for paying players since they would have more tiers/lvls in their roster still. Competitive aspect for a future: If the game tries to go pro/ranked system (not counting squad league since that is like normal cups in BS or CR) and you wanted to make it really skill expressive I think is not gonna happen with the the current iteration. Different teams give and advantage and obviously consumables would have to be disabled (unless you want to lean even more into p2w. Changes: Currently pre-squad league you get a random team per match and in squad league you get a team which rerrols each our. This system is not the worse but I rather it be different with you choosing at least part of the squad (1-2 choices per rarity). For example imagine if you were forced to play a random deck each time in CR with cards you have less levels in or just it being a worse deck in general. This will grow even more with more characters diluting the pool of characters you like/have lvls on and might get out of control if the balance between characters is broken. My 2 options for any future is A) you can modify your roster, at least 1-2 characters and let the rest be rng (either the 1h or every game is fine) or B) let you look at the modifier pre game, both would make the game become too meta probably.

C) In game PVE Suppliers: As of now I feel for most modifiers a supplier is almost obligatory, not counting goblin since it gives limited coins unlike greg or mavis. Getting a roster of commons of Primo, chicken, Goblin, Shelly and barb makes the early game feel way too slow unless the modifiers in again one of the npc spawns like gift/goblins/moles. Something that could Trader: Trader is just op and if he is in your roster your strategy warps a lot IMO. I had game like in super gem mine where I never touch the center and still get 1st or second place with trader+suplier combo Dmg focused farm: Honestly is just way worse on non npc modifiers than getting a supplier at the start at least. Also I feel enemies lack identity but it mostly due to the next point Simplicity : I cant blame the game from wanting to be simple but for a heavily PVE focused game it feels like the enemies lack identity. Of course for a game with only move button and stand still to attack (and spells) the options are limited but every enemy feels the same through all the maps. small enemy-slightly bigger enemy-projectile (small and big), Big guy which sometimes flashed red and you move a little (bosses). D) In Game PVP Team composition: again this is reliant on what you did early to build your team (suppliers) and late in which characters you have (Barbking). I feel unless you are running exclusivel suppliers and weak characters you are not overly screwed but most of the time you can just run. Controls and Control: agains a problem with the game being too simple in the controls department limits your control over what too focus. I have seen many times in chases that since you need to stop to attack the other player can just run and if they catch uip their characters happen to focus a skeleton or a random enemy/turret. This makes the PvP part feel way too clunky IMO Chases: Again most of the time in equal conditions you cand just run forever from someone. Differences arise from having hog rider- max unlocked (hope you have those unlocked in that case lmao) or having way more boost saved up. Also many times thanks to the "stay still to attack" mechanic, you might want to kill someone, you catch up and star betting 1 of their members, and by the time you kill that one the rest of the squad is a mile away. Also I have seen time where since if a character drags too far behind they speed away to catch up, that one member you catch just manages to survive low and run faster than you can, specially again since you have to stand still to attack Non forced interaction and the issue of battle royales: Now, should PvP be required/expected, probably not, but at the same time I think it makes for a some boring gameplay patterns, there is nothing wrong with winning with suppliers+traders, but their expected weakness is combat, so you should target to kill them, however if they have a speedster they can always keep the distance unless they run into a corner. Most issues also arise from the BR genre, you dont want to engage in combat since even if you win, losing 1-3 characters might mean you lose overall and leaves you exposed to a 3rd player, so everyone always chills out until the last 10 sec of the game. E) Balance For this im just gonna comment briefly on the current state of the most non average characters Dynamike: Attacks way too slow for too little dmg and area, worse character by far Goblin: falls way to behind in the supplier department and I would say sometimes even hinder you actively, maybe give coins for killing npcs witch: Feels way too weak for an epic since skeletons go by themselves and dont follow you. Trader: the only character I consider truly OP since he actively plays into the objective (gems) and doubles up on any other character (any character helps get coins) and even more on suppliers. Royal king feels like the witch (a little better) since the spawns also run by themselves. Make this both that they dont constantly respawn until busted (skeletons/guards) but they follow you Chicken: Feels literally like a wasted slot that hinders you by making stuff more expensive and extra copies are not wanted mid game most of the time (averages second worse character IMO with goblin) Bea: A little on the weak side due to bees being almost irrelevant Hogrider/Max: Almost feel necessary/makes a way too big impact when you get them Penny: I would like for you to get more maps occasionally (maybe like a 30 sec cd) since she suffers like goblin from being a finite supplier All other characters are decently balanced IMO

Chest tickets for FtP should refresh once a day instead of every three hours. The way it is now, you either have to arrange your day around the ticket timer, or lose chest opportunities. This is just another mechanic to squeeze money out of people and it’s quite annoying. The Clash Legend League system is much better. Spell unlocking is way too grindy. There should be a more robust look into your own statistics (searchable by placement, by squad size, by units used, etc…). I know SC keeps this data. Let people use it. and the replay system should make it so you can see who placed where from the menu and be able to follow that person. It would give us a way to learn. And yes to everything you said in the video.

1. They could edit the layout better. Make it easier to add people to your friends list. Make a button on the main page to add friends with people you have recently played with. 2. Quit resetting players' down levels when the season restarts. I can't possibly make it to squad league level ever this way without paying $100 + dollars OR MORE into the game. Make the game more friendly to players who can't afford the "pay to win" mechanics of the game. 3. Please, please add more time to the gameplay. 4. Give us the option to choose gameplay mode. 5. Chest replenish from 3 hours to 2 or 1 hour to encourage more frequent playtime.

This game will be better if they removed pvp every game i play players just run away and dont want to fight cause how unfair it is with new players facing fully upgraded squad's, pvp should be an option in settings the most complaints i see is pvp thats why it's rating is low not every game needs pvp the game should of been who can farm the most gems not farm gems and attack weak players to get more gems. The 9 hour chest ticket for 3 is trash should be 10 ticket, 1 ticket every 10 minutes only 10 tickets per day or after using 10 tickets you wait 2hours for 10 tickets idk. There should be chest you earn after being top 5 waiting 3 hours to unlock with just 4 chest slot like clash royale.

Late to the vid but the game is simply to random and it becomes p2w, because of that mostly. Couple of solutions. 1. They could make a squad setup, 3 of each rarity, 1 picked mega, which would decreases some randomness. 2. Have missions on a rotator like 4 your able to pick from like brawl stars and a 5th mode that’s completely randomized(how it is now). 3. Make megas like regular units, you keep and level them up, but make them more difficult to obtain in match and in shop(so people can’t spam buy them). 4. Lastly I think they should give us more gold in general as well as more avenues to obtain gold and characters, since it’s insanely slow rn, without paying…

The strangest aspect of this game to me is the level of rng in matches. Your characters are random and chests are random which takes out a lot of the agency of creating a squad. I think that random squads are fun as you are forced to create good squads on the fly, but I think it lacks the agency that you would normally have with a supercell game, like in CR where you can build your own deck, CoC where you train a custom army, or Brawl Stars where you choose which character to play and their loadout.

all of the points pointed out in thee video are practically why i stopped playing squad busters and here are them along with some extras not covered in the video: 1. keys are so much P2W 2. there is no winstreak because the game's winstreak is maintained through coin payment (which is why i consider that SB's winstreak don't exist) 3. 1000 baby characters to get one ultra character is too much to anyone 4. P2W offers of guaranted character in super or ultra, progressive offers, chest offers 5. very low chest limit per day, that is 3 chests per day 6. you can't complete events unless you spend some real money due to how short they are for their last reward, the time you take to complete it is not within a day 7. paid gem pass 8. 2 gem pass, one for when you start and the second one is for the current season 9. the number 8 has an extra, the game says that you have not claimed all of the paid rewards being that you have not paid for it aka it tells you to buy the paid pass instead of not saying anything about it 10. re-rolls 11. luck on character picking 12. no competitive potential (the competitive side of an game is one of the most crucial parts to keep the game alive for more time) 13. megas are OP things i would fix on each one: 1. remove it since it makes the player have an advantage over everyone else on the match 2. remove the option to keep it since it make winstreaks lose their purpose 3. make so that every character evolution takes x of that current evolution instead of only needing to make a ton of fusions of baby characters on an 10 of that stage of evolution across all of them (10 from baby to classic, 10 from classic to super/100 babies fused, 10 super to ultra/1000 babies fused) thus making it taking so much time, my idea would be 25 from baby to classic, 60 from classic to super and 95 super to ultra making in total only 170 of that unit and in compensation the amount of characters you would get in an chest would decrease to reflect that and thus making so that you take an decent amount of time to max out an account (it is just an idea, i am not that good when it comes to make an balance idea so bear with me with the others who require numbers) 4. remove those offers and make some that are healthy for both spenders and non-spenders 5. increase it by 3 or 5 since it is not that impactful in the game if it keeps this system of needing only the baby forms to make an ultra in the end (the closed beta had an better system, idk what comed on the minds of the devs) 6. extend some event durations since they are not aligned with the final rewards and with the time the player would spend to get the final reward 7. make the rewards in both sides more equal to lessen the gap between an P2W player and a F2P like the Brawl Stars's brawl pass from which there are some advantages but those advantages do not interfere with the other players in the match 8. remove the starter gem pass paid part and increasing the rewards on the Free side of the initial gem pass so it would be more akin to an new player boost (from which is it's intention) rather than a new P2W only player boost 9. remove this warning 10. remove this 11. also remove this and make it an better scheme 12. make the game more previewable and less P2W so that can be an competitive scene 13. the concept of mega units are interesting, but they putted in the worst way, the way i would improve would be requiring an certain 3rd character when it comes to fusing, instead of saying fusion it would say the mega unit's name, in compensation for that, i would make the mega units have an nerf in it's effects

I could see the reroll button costing (in-match) gold to use. So there's always a bit of risk-reward to it. You could potentially make keys cost gems to use but I have a feeling that would require a lot of tweaking so it isn't OP anyway

As a spc player for 8 years, i can tell that SB is fun in the beginning, but players will lose interest after 1 month playing for the following reasons: First reason is SB takes too much time to have a good account if you are f2p. Most spc games like Clash of Clan and Clash Royale are p2w but people can save and earn gold, gems by long-term playing. Still, those games are still tactical games that require skills. However, SB is much different. Players can only earn chest every 3 hours, meaning they can only get 8 chests per day. They don't have other ways to earn besides spending ( CR has gold earned for every battle and tournaments are free ). Also in SB, u need to spend like 5k gold if u don't want to lose ur streak (gold is hard to earn as mentioned). If u lose streak, ur chest is absolutely dogshit. The second reason is the one u mentioned in your video, p2w players can get huge advantage in the game with the keys. Imagine having a fusion archer queen for 0 gold when others need to collect 3 of them to fuse (the cost will increase one after one). This means SB is no longer a tactical game like CoC and CR. Removing keys is essential if spc wants to attract players to SB again

I've had so much trust in Supercell's balancing due to the huge amounts of community engagement I've seen in Brawl Stars. Squadbusters really surprised me by how extremely P2W it is. At least Clash of Clans and Clash Royale's P2W doesn't involve paying individually for every single round.

My biggest issue is that the game isn’t fun to play with others. Sure, you can play in the same match but that never felt special, just like a normal match. I think on of the reasons other supercell games are preforming better (especially brawl stars) is because your overall experience is heighten when play with others. On another note, squad busters doesn’t feel super competitive in my opinion, most situations ingame are better off with you fleeing rather then fighting so the game just feels like a gem collecting simulator that requires little strategy.

personally think the game wasn't ready for global at all. the beta creators had access to before release (like a few months ago) had a lot more features and resembled a more typical supercell game, but for some reason they decided to remove skins (and others)??? i think they're saving those for an update but it's been weeks after global launch and there has been no 'huge' update don't know what they were thinking with that because clash mini i feel was a more finished product - squad busters should've been in pre-release for a longer time

I think the main issue at its core is that people do not want to play a game that mainly relies on rng and not skill. Idk how Supercell didn’t realize that with all their experience. The game loop is also repetitive and there’s a lack of depth so idk how long this game will actually last Everything else like economy, leveling, key times, and unlock rates are typical things supercell always messes up on improves over time. I understand that it’s hard to balance it but it’s kinda annoying that every new supercell game just feels like they forgot the previous experience they had with release and killed games.

Think the easiest way to fix the character unlock % being so low is just to make with every chance the % goes a little higher, like it used to be in brawl stars with their chest system. That I can see working perfectly but I don't think the progression is too slow especially compared to other supercell games. I havnt really spent any money on the game and I've unlocked quite a few characters and have almost half of mine tier 3 already without even grinding every day. I enjoy it idk what the hate is

People are getting sick of pay to win games. This game is fun, but will never get a penny from me. I recommend people only spend money on games that aren’t pay to win. The games of the future will be worse in regards to pay to win if people keep throwing money at greedy companies like Supercell. Supercell games all have potential to be really good but are intentionally made worse for $. Character levels will always be dumb to me. All characters should have their full potential from the start. These different versions, baby, super, ultra, etc. only exist for money. It adds nothing to the game and makes it worse. Supercell is the perfect example of greed pushed as far as possible.
