Yeah that's a good strategy mostly if you can collect a few chicken before so you can run away in case someone strong comes also keep a spell on you. Don't know if it gets harder to pull it off in leagues where more pro players play as they'd take this chance or hunt you down as they see you up top

PSA: NEVER pick the trader for your first character...never.

I always pick trader first if I have the chance, pretty much impossible to lose if you just farm outside of mid with Greg or mavis

@@JohnnyPederson He doesn't kill fast enough on his own and if someone invades your starting area with a damage dealer, you are done. If you pick Trader, you have to hope/pray no one comes after you at the beginning.

In doppelgängers, there is a rare strat, which consist in getting goblins and, if ur lucky, then traders, people have reached over 2k gems with this strat

Ive had it a few times where ive had those games where the winner only has 70 gems but i had a trader and i ended the match on 200+

If you have goblin and trader in doppelganger it's one of the best comps you take goblin leave all the coins and then you get trader

Maybe you didn't explore it yet, but Trader is completely busted in Doppelgangers if you combine him with Goblin and you just open chests back to back. When you have at least 2 fusions in your squad and you just need to start cycling between Goblin and Trader back to back without picking the coins with Goblin so you left them to Trader you get 600-700 gems every game easily, if not more. There are people getting like 2k gems with this strat

There is a strat in doppelganger that ive seen and used if u chose gob run away dont pick up coina and chose trader pick up coins can be great tho very risky cause ur using gob and trader which are both weak and someone can steal then gold but ive done so and beaten 2nd place by a few hunderdd

Lol I have the same issue. When I don’t have a trader in rotation games feel really stressful and I have to try hard to win. But once I get trader I always end up with 200+ gems at the end, just chilling outside of mid minding my own business

@@JohnnyPederson yes , and also is more stressful when you don't get mavis , gref or trader , so you are forced to play very aggressive, going to mid asap and try to control it . But.. for mid strategy is more needed to have pvp units maxed and is more like a coin flip. Still funny have to deal with all of it, adapting to every situation.
