For anyone who wishes to know the actual story of the manga Alice in borderland In manga, a meteor/comet hit Japan.... everyone that is in borderland is in limbo (between life and death signaled by the fireworks and power outage characters experienced.) Basically joker (death/deity of borderland) felt bad that so many innocent people died unfairly so he set up games to give folks a chance at life again. If all cards are collected, the players will get two options...1become permeant residents (no visa and make your own game like face card people (Jack's,Kings, Queens) or 2.refuse offer and be sent back to your world (wake up from coma/being knocked out during comet) The Magna is great, they have a new manga called Alice in borderland retry.
