Grey's anatomy is everything! If you watch past the first season, you'll be hooked. It's not depressing, but there are definitely some episodes that'll have you in tears, but the tears are so worth it.

I’ve been watching Grey’s since season 1. It’s not depressing but you get so involved with the characters that you feel like you know them. Now I will say Shonda sometimes rips out your soul, but it’s such a good show.

Grey's Anatomy is AWESOME..I definitely think you both would enjoy it. The drama and story lines are very interesting but the last 2-3 seasons aren't as impressive to me but I am still a die hard fan. Love watching you guys. One suggestion that I loved, was adding a plant to the place. Especially one that doesn't need much care. It makes any space feel warm. My favorite is a monstera or snake plant.
