I literally moved from a non walkable city to a walkable city and now I’m about to sell my car bc I can walk to work. I agree and the transportation let's be real here to have a vehicle here now really isnt needed bcuz so many streets are being taken over with bike docks that parking is just a night mare over all plus our system runs 24/7/365 and things aren't that far from each other . So her taking the subway is understandable unless a person has parking in their apt bldg or a drive way other than that a car isnt a must have here . Ppl commute from New Jersey to work in the city And they leave their cars at home and get on the railroad and buses it's less hassle but again once u actually live here u will see what u really need and dont to get around

As a born and raised NYC girlie, what makes here so special is the choices you have in how YOU wish to live. You can very much have a car here, but you can also choose to not have one and take the train. Both are great choices. You can buy your groceries at a Whole Foods in the city for example, but you can also buy them at a local, low-key super market. Again, both great choices. You can still have a “luxurious” lifestyle here while still doing the typical thing New Yorkers do, such as riding the train 😭 It never gave downgrade. Its just the choices we have on how someone chooses to live. Love you, Allyiah! Continue being humble and hoping you are enjoying Dubai ❤

Omg the stalker thing is scary. On my vlog channel, someone from the city I lived in at the time came up to me in public saying they knew I was at the location because they saw my car in the parking lot so they waited. BABYYYYYY I stopped showing my Material goods asap and definitely became intentional about where I was choosing to vlog. I only had 3k subscribers at the time so I can only imagine how it is for you.
