Brooke, I just need to say that you really are God sent. I found you when you were sharing your homeless journey but I found your content again yesterday and Ive been binge watching since. Your devotionals and especially you reading Psalms just now hit me hard. I have been struggling so much lately and I have felt so lost and alone because I truthfully am. feel like im doing the same thing over and over again too, highlight of my week is going to friends houses for bible study(still need to read the Bible more on my own, reading for me as a guy isn’t my funnest activity haha) but yeah trust in god that he has a plan for you. someone reminded me recently that god wants us to be happy more than we ourselves do. he doesn’t give out cheap gifts that don’t last long. whatever he has for you Brooke know it’s gonna be perfect for specially you. Yes, it is hard and I know. Talking to God is all about trusting Him and spending time with Him. Life is always tough but we are blessed to have a God who understands our pasts and knows our future ... You are doing so good and just allow yourself to be you, not perfect but forgiven. Brooke this video this video is EXACTLY WHAT I'VE NEEDED 😢 I've been dealing with my depression horribly with my husbands death day is coming up so my kids are so sad I cant take their pain away or mine away so I've just felt defeated & broken 💔 Im so sick & tired of worrying how I'm feeding my babies I have tried to go to state assistance & get turned away because I'm working but still to short . Instead of asking the Lord what you think is possible… start asking him what HE KNOWS is possible. We serve an almighty God who created this ENTIRE EARTH IN SIX DAYS, and rested on the 7th!!! He can change your life circumstances in 5 minutes, 12hrs, 24hrs, 48hrs, a week, a month!! Just believe he is who he says he is and that he will fulfill what he said he will… “ you receive not because you ask not” Stop asking for tiny miracles, ask for big miracles that are so big that it shows people how big he is !!! I knows it’s been a month.. i hope you’re doing better and i hope you were able to cope through this heartache you have been facing. When you were talking about Alice in Wonderland, I immediately thought of when I watched the Lion King a couple of days ago and how significantly similar it is in our walk with God! When Simba remembered who he was and went to take the kingdom back from Scar and in the middle of their fight Simba told Scar "I'm no longer yours" that is us!! The enemy will always try to feed us lies, steal our future/identity and kill our joy but we have to tell him we are not his! We belong to our Heavenly Father! We are God's children!
