Please be honest, teaching in Canada particular Ontario is one of the most different professions to get a full time job. There are more than 100k OCT in Ontario itself. Getting into a school board is extremely difficult. Besides courses , everyone has to go through number of eligibility gates to qualify for Full time position.

Hi Vin M, its not being dishonest....one teacher shared how she found board job in ontario and she also mentioned that u have to be qualified and competent....even if its one of the most difficult profession to get into, people still get the jobs....people still apply for OCT and the best ones get it like in any other regulated profession....I can interview minimum of 10 people I know personally who landed in Canada in last 10 years and all are board teachers on permanent jobs....it simply means they all are qualified and competent enough...

There is no age limit to get register for OCT....it might affect u in a good way or a bad way while applying jobs depending upon interviewer's personal perception...

AIPP is not related to Ontario...OCT is only for teaching jobs in ontario..

If you are planning to enter into research, many universities give opportunity to work part-time while doing your research. Else you can directly apply for technician in clinical or industrial labs. For university admission criteria, I suggest you to do your own research.
