Nice review. I do own 405 geared head from Manfrotto. It is great except for 410pl plate, which Manfrotto tries to push you to use. Since all my system is Arca Swiss compatible like yours, I have added a separate Arca Swiss plate on top of the Manfrotto plate. Definitely, it makes the whole setup bulky as the 405 head itself is a behemoth. Hope to see more videos like this :)

Thank you. 405 is definitely a great head, better than Benro. I decided to go with Benro considering the size, weight, and price. Thanks for your support!

@@creativeip I had 410 Junior before I sold and bought 405. Out of all the heads, I saw 405 was the best of the lot. At that time neither Benro or Sunwayfoto were available (2014) so I am stuck with 405. I have no regrets as the Arca Swiss plate juggad works fine. :)

I checked it before buying benro. It's certainly better than benro and l think you need not have to regret :) But as you know it's heavy and l am getting old :)

Very good review, thank you. It wasn't short but packed with real content. I can see you put work into this.

Would this Benro head work fine with Maksutov 127mm telescope at 150x magnification while planets observing? The Mak 127mm telescope is 3.5kg and it needs an eyepiece of about 0.4kg or there is another variant: Mak+binoviewer+2x eyepiece = about 5kg weight. Would this work then?

I am not sure as I do not have experience with telescopes

Can I go for 410 junior manfrotto?? Only concern is the plate is big and difficult to use on normal tripod like Vanguard cspod.

Tilt angle of Benro GD3WH is from range 90-30 and not roll angle. Roll angle is 90-15. That is wrong.

Please watch this video from Benro - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJeVe2uNhciLpKs&feature=emb_logo . However, you can interchange tilt and roll angle (with some difficulty) by rotating the camera by 90 degree.
