About Free Mars ... The designer, Joseph Miranda, is a fan of an old SPI science fiction game called Battle Fleet Mars. He has proposed doing a remake called Free Mars, but DG hasn't received enough pledges to let him design the game. But he did design these two mini games. Alas, Free Mars doesn't exist - yet!

Thanks for doing this video. Both games should have one copy of the general rules and one copy of the exclusive rules. If your Ceres game has two copies of the general rules and no exclusive rules, then that is a mistake Decision Games made. You should contact them so they can fix their mistake.

I only ever had Phobos Rising (long ago traded). Alas I liked the components better than the game. Great map. I will be very interested in your take on gameplay.

Just got both of them. Only started playing Ceres. Rules are awfully written, they don’t even explain which are the friendly markers and which are the enemies. I am a bit disappointed as I really love the other big games from Decision Games. I was really hoping for a short immersive experience , instead I had to spend hours to work out what the rules meant, printing off rules rewrites from BGG, and continuously checking the rule book.... what a shame... decision games can and should do better!
