The Chittering Woods is a vast and ever-changing sentient network of flora whose sole purpose is to consume. Born from the Hexstar of the Forest; which crashed four millennia ago; the mighty Amazon rainforest slowly evolved into a looming monstrosity that secludes all those who enter. Those who inhabit The Chittering Woods are called Residents. The Residents all live in the Home of their dreams, without qualm or worry, as the land provides all they need. Most Homes contain trails leading to an enchanted grove, a small town and a river.
The Chittering Woods perverts the minds of its Residents into believing that the woods is their home and has been for many years regardless of how long they have been there. Here, time is not what it seems. Though many have been born and raised here, one could always question their lineage.
Residents that have become aware of the malice of the woods are called The Awakened. As the Awakened become more aware of the Chittering Woods, they distort the Hex Magic of the woods, leading their Homes to connect to each other. The Chittering Woods abhors this disruption in its flow of Hex Magic and will do all it can to stop Awakened Residents.
