In third situation, we use brake only to slow down the vehicle or to control the speed but not to stop the vehicle completely and in the fourth situation we have to stop the vehicle completely all of a sudden and keep the engine on, we have to use the clutch. So both the objectives 1) to stop the vehicle completely and 2) to keep the engine on, are achieved 😊
