"Lie" is a masterpiece, the production is insane, the lyrics are amazing and the voice of Jimin is beautiful. Without a doubt, for me is one of the best songs of BTS. Also, Jimin is an outstanding performer, the choreography of this song is so hard and unbelievable. He was born to be on stage, his stage presence is mesmerizing. My Jiminie slayed with this song, he just takes my breath away everytime he dances, this is the reason i fell in love with him because of his dancing and this is the main reason he is my ultimate kpop bias. Lie is my second favourite song from Jiminie and my fav bit of his love is when they lift him up and he still sings that long high note (which is actually really hard to do while be lifted) and not loose a single note will for ever be my fav part also this song is so emotional and you can feel the emotion and see the story that Jiminie is portyaing aswell which is the reason i love his dancing

RAAACCHEELLL!! OKAY SO. This song is just straight up my favorite thing that Jiminie has ever released. Idk if it's just me or other people as well, but the instrumental in the beginning and when fading out sounds like Flamenco, one of my favorite Latin music styles. Also, it's just gives such sexy vibes even though the lyrics are the complete opposite xD. The live? THE BLINDFOLD. This is what made Jimin my favorite dancer in BTS (they are all super talented but I just love Jimin's contemporary style). Once you react to Boy Meets Evil and BST in the storyline, you HAVE to react to their 2016 MAMA Boy Meets Evil + Blood Sweat and Tears live performance. I don't wanna spoil that performance for you but once you do watch it, you'll understand why I'm commenting it on this video, you will literally be mind-blown. And the backing vocals you mentioned were Adora, one of BigHit's producers. She is in the background of a lot of BTS songs. He did an INSANE Boy Meets Evil + Lie performance with J-Hope at MAMA 2016 that you absolutely need to see. It's also what he danced to in his solo bit in his Showdown performance with SHINee's Taemin at 2016 KBS Song Festival (the two of them, along EXO's Kai and several others are part of an adorable friend group).

I love this song and jimin and his dancing will forever make me smile because hes so amazing. But the song also makes me sad because he wrote this song around the time he was really struggling with his self image with his weight and his exercise addiction. So while it's a beautiful song and performance and I listen to it multiple times a week, it's also alittle heartbreaking to think that on some level jimin also thought this negatively about himself. I'm so glad hes in a better spot right now, and that his members and army know about his problems, and it just makes me love him more for being strong enough to work through it and overcome it one step at a time. And if it's any testament to his improvement I'm not 100 percent but i believe that serendipity that comes later after this, also represents jimin and his recovery and him starting to love himself as he is, so yeah. Sorry for the long rant I just love this bean so so much, and he deserves every type of love we can give him.

When Jimin performs, the passion and emotion comes so much from deep within (down to the bone) and then pours it out in his performance. I think that is why it uses a lot of his energy. When I see Jimin learn new choreo, he doesn’t just memorize and mimmick the moves exactly. He looks like he is internalizing the context of the movements in relation to the song and/or it’s meaning of the lyrics first and then practices the technical side. I feel like that’s why you don’t see him just following exact full movements while learning it. That is at least what I got from watching, but it’s just my personal observation. I used to dance, but stopped in my late teens. I think the saying is true, once a dancer always a dancer. I still have muscle memory and remember the things the dance teacher ingrained in me.
