Theory: Zizzy is actually dreaming, in the outside, she's infected. But inside the dream, she isn't. She knows Zee and zuzy are dreams. They aren't infected.

I think this is what the infection does, it puts you in an illusion world but your body is just out there, killing people Maybe since the player is immune but has the infection in them, it results in their illusion world and the real world blending into one

I think Zizzy was hallucinating the whole chapter. The insolence was inside her head and making her hallucinate, and the reason why we see her sisters infected is because she is hallucinating

I think Tios “friend” killed off most of the humans except a few survivors which is why there’s not many humans, and that’s how he showed the world that he wasn’t happy. I don’t know who started the infection, but I think that tio died a long time ago, like -1300s - 1400s, maybe mr stitchy or whoever friend was trapped somewhere or banished but then somehow managed to sicken Mrs. P, while Mr P mind was weak, he snuck in, talked to him, and then guided him through making the potions, which than started the infection. I’ve gotten most of my ideas from gravity falls and the owl house, but minitoon has seen and loves gravity falls, so I think that he is taking inspiration from it.

The reasons I think this are: -Friend has different eyes so he can’t be part of the insolence -His name is literally friend, he’s most likely TIO’s friend -He has the same arms -He hasn’t been explained yet -The reason why he tries to kill you might be because he saw you ‘absorb’ the insolence eyes, or just because you disturbed his stay in the hotel. -He seems to have had his legs cut off, presumably by TIO

I think the most controversial thing about this chapter is was Pony a hallucination or not? Because Mr Dude Man is in Pony’s head so he can see what he’s thinking and make the hallucination seem real or that actually was Pony. The reasoning for it being Pony is because of his last line “Wait you’ve seen him too-“ and then he disappeared.
