Sad, even thought so when the program was aired. Looking back Paul and John both gone, though very different departures.

I wonder if the line in “try whistling this”.. “he said “come here” as he pushed me down” relates to the Paul and Neil “tour violence “ incident? 🤔😂

I was only thinking of this yesterday, how I must be the only one to have spotted this. My comment was three years ago! How weird! 😮

Hessie's Shed ran for just 2 months and 3 days at the end of 1998. Sorry mate, great idea, but somehow it quickly ran it's course. RIP Paul, I met you once back stage in Wellington, funny guy but apparently rather troubled soul lay beneath.

Can someone explain the joke - "What's the capital of Tonga?" - "$4.80" - ?

joshualucas Ah, thanks for explaining - I was trying to read too deep into it.

Yeah it was such a testament to just how amazingly quick-witted John Clarke is/was... the man didn't even "bat an eyelid"..!

Aww. Josh Lucas deleted his comment. I don't get it either... If someone gets it, would they be able to explain again?
@stevespatucci65023 жыл бұрын
@@oldsoulone1217 I forget exactly but I think it had to do with the country's "capital" as in worth/value.
