Despite explaining it a lot in the last video, I still got quite a lot of comments about this so I feel the need to address it one more time: This is not meant to be the full game, I've played through the full game twice already on this channel. It takes WEEKS to get through a full game where it's just a bunch of overleveling for gyms anyways, and that's not the point of this series at all; think of this as an extension to the mono-normal full playthrough challenge video. Don't trip though, my next video is gonna be back to full game content, and I'll also be mixing more of these kaizo monotypes in between as I go. Thank you guys and enjoy !!! ❤️🙏

Man, seeing you do this made me realize how poorly I prepared in my mono-Grass run. I definitely should've gone for Shiftry and Exeggutor for Explosion, I had no idea they got it until after I uploaded the video. Good stuff though man, really enjoying the content!

I laughed so much at the Cradily comments about not sleeping on it, seriously, is there anyone who doesnt know how utterly broken that thing was back in gen 3? I knew from the start you had to pick it over the other stuff, also Vileplume is *decent* maybe it was better than Venusaur, would depend on little details like nature, moveset and her meek 10 Sp.def 10 speed buffs

I remember always picking a cradily whenever I go through hoenn. A 485 stat total with the sheer amount of defenses it has?? No-brainer. I do wish they'd make more "lopsided" type pokemon that are viable in more teams. It's always very hard to use cradily without planning your team around efficient toxic/pp stalling. Then again, this is is emerald kaizo.

i know sceptile is draymond but in the context of this playthrough i present: the mono grass team as iconic warriors sceptile: steph curry (fast, puts in tons of work offensively, not amazing defensively, probably best mon on the team in this playthrough) exeggutor: klay thompson (known for offense but also quite solid defensively, sometimes "explodes" for 37 in a quarter) cradily: draymond green (underrated impact due to limited but capable offense, the glue of the team, a true backbone that patches up some key defensive holes) meganium: kevon looney (literally just a screen setter. mainly sets screens, plays defense and very limited offensively - body slam lol) venusaur: andre iguodala (in the past, has been one of the better players at the position, but is now a jack of all trades, master of none) ludicolo: shaun livingston (has a pretty specific niche but is good at it - bullying smaller guards and hitting midrange j's - just like bullying water types in rain) a certain (ex) warrior is missing... that's bc serperior didn't exist in this hack

Could you try Pokemon Rejuvenation dark mono? There is a thing about Poekemon Rejuvenation is you can't overlevel your gyn leader,you need to get badges to increase the max level you could get Plus more field effect and gym leader's pokemon movesets are kinda wellmade
