I feel like the two performances just showcase two different things. The VMA one gave us fierce prowess and debut her as a performer in a way you can't forget. The Jimmy Falon performance showcased her vocal talent and producer talent. Which was a way to put a a stamp on her as Chloe, and not just a Beyonce prodigee or remake. So both performances did what they were meant to do in my opinion

Chloe did great! This was my favourite performance of have mercy so far because of the arrangement switch up, showing us versatility!! She is so talented and I love that for her! It’s obvious that she will keep showcasing more and more of her talent and it’s exciting. I can’t wait for the album, I hope there is 1 killer ballad just because I would love to see her show off on the piano and sangggg 🥺. One thing about the Bailey sisters is the talent card never declines. They are gearing up for a complete takeover and I LOVE IT. Loved your dancing and singing also 👀 you were in tune and everything

Whew!! I can’t wait for her to gift me with a piano version of Have Mercy. Chloe (and Halle) may not be for everyone musically, sonically, performance wise and that’s why I love them. They still the same girls who gave us the kids are alright. They love to get classical they love to experiment with sounds and textures. You hear it in the music they create. So of course miss Chloe is going give us a dramatic Have Mercy performance with string instruments and her pad right beside her. If this shocks you then you haven’t been paying attention to her as an artist. If you’re expecting her to perform a studio version of have mercy then you don’t know nothing about Chloe.
