I was a stand in for her (a few episodes of a TV show), and this video made me crack up laughing. She never said a word to me, nor I to her. Not that she / we should have, just saying I really had a few moments of awkward silence next to the actress. When being a stand in, as I have for several "big stars" - the rule of thumb is speak only when spoken too - which is cool with me - I don't get "starstruck" - and silence is necessary and professional on set. I had a wonderful time being part of "second team" as all of us stand-ins became good friends and socialized plenty (off set but on location) while waiting for our scenes. I will say that some of the stars were more friendly than others - just like the general population. Most all of them were professional and cordial.

It's recently come to my attention that I love fashion. I came upon this discovery at the annual Celebration Of Vintage Tea Kettles. I attended with Sarah Jessica Parker, Sarah Ferguson, and Fergie. I wore a knitted mock kimono made with thread from an elderly wildebeast by Yves Saint Laurent, clogs welded from rescued gymnasium flooring by Kimora Lee Simmons, and a pair of bedazzled Daisy Dukes. There I received advice from noted fashion icon Susan Sarandon who told me this: abandon argyle.
