I really applaud this interview. Very well thought out questions and follow ups. I feel like watching interviews with dance moms can be so frustrating because the interviewers asks the same questions and dosent seem genuinely interested in how the girls are reflecting about their experiences . So very well done !!❤

I love Chloe. She’s so genuine and empathetic. She would be such an amazing friend. And lemme just say, she answered that question about the off-camera reunion (the one with the Ziegler’s for Paige’s birthday) so well.

Interesting and valid point that, of course, someone like Jojo came in with a game plan and obviously the original cast girls would be more vulnerable. That is I feel where somw parents failed. If you see your kid suffering you pull her out. It is the job of the parent to give the right prospective to the child and if not possible then taking them out of what they perceive as a toxic environment. Not when it's too late but as soon as possible. I am a parent and a dance teacher and I think surelly Abby and the show have their own responsibility but. ... It is my job as a parent to protect my children in dayly life and of course on papers. But maybe money and fame took over those parents head.

How do people STILL not know that the moms were contractually obligated to the show?!?! They couldn’t just pull their daughters and leave! Kelly had to get arrested to get off the show, Christie’s lawyers had to find a loophole in her contract. They fought tooth and nail (Kelly literally did) to leave that show. Listen to the podcasts and educate yourself before judging the OG moms.

I love how Chloe also always highlights that the friendships were such a close family and comfort and that there was also so much fun and child moments everyday and that’s how it felt at the time whilst also acknowledging in reflection as an adult how some moments did have a negative affect and she can see how on other people too but that at the time they really did get to be children a lot more than people acknowledge ❤

unpopular opinion: i think the girls want to move on from the show the same way maddie did, but i don't think the girls can move on, they don't want to and they feel valid and relevant as "dance moms girls" so i think that they are jealous of the Zieglers because the Zieglers moved on easily and that's why they are throwing this shade at Maddie and Mackenzie, Chloe has been the underdog all these years and gets away with everything she says because people feel bad for her as a child, but in reality, she is not an angel and she is an adult, I am not saying she is bad but that she agrees with Christi who is still so bitter and full of hate 10 years later...

Christi and Chloe saying that Melissa (in effect, the Zieglers) was being strategic in planning the OG reunion on Paige’s birthday ruined it for me. I was so happy seeing them all together not knowing that this is their thought process.

Ok and is it such a bad thing that Chloe might not want to be friends with Melissa considering what Melissa did to her and vice versus with Maddie and Kenzie not wanting to be friends with Christi
@christinechan016 ай бұрын
@@haileyparsons3844 Nobody is forcing anybody to be friends with anybody. But to go to the party that the Zieglers hosted then accuse them of being “strategic/manipulative” leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If you think the Zieglers are being manipulative in the first place, then just don’t go. No need to go on national tv accusing other people for something you are free to say “no” to.

saying "its not in my nature" and then accusing people who arent there to defend themselves, doesnt make it better though, so it very clearly is in your nature and then again if it was that strategic, why has she even attended? they accuse melissa to do things behind their backs while in reality right now, they are the ones doing it, attending melissas event, taking happy selfies and then talking badly about them...
@christinechan016 ай бұрын

Please stop. Abby Maddie and Melissa had a lot to do with manipulative sheisty behavior towards Chloe. That was not in Chloe's defense. And the Ziegler's had an opportunity to attend and they decided not to so yes they cannot defend themselves because they decided not to go
@Kate-gq9lu3 ай бұрын
I honestly feel Christi had a lot more people on her side during the show airing, but over the years I feel she’s just dropped herself in it and showed her true colours, the constant snide remarks and false narratives, the clear bitterness all these years later, I could go on, but this is literally a prime example where she’s just trying to create a problem with Melissa that really is not there. The fact that the Zieglers and Melissa literally don’t say a word or even have any bad words to say at this point, says it all. By all means Melissa was sneaky on the show, but it’s evident that her behaviour ended when she left and honestly she’s really done nothing wrong for a long time, Christi can not and will not let it go, and she always wants to paint Melissa in a bad light even when there really is no intention behind it and I really think all it’s doing is showing Christi up and making people really question who the actual problem is/was alot of the time. It’s very clear to me that there was some manipulation going on by Christi, and it’s obviously rubbed off in some way on Chloe. I just don’t think they are doing themselves any favours by still bashing them it just makes them seem jealous and problematic. And I don’t buy Chloe’s persona here either, I think Chloe is a lovely girl but this seems strategic.
@Kate-gq9lu3 ай бұрын
I also think Christi got a pretty big shock after she made these comments about Melissa and then a lot of the fandom didn’t agree and called her out, this is something that wouldn’t have happened during the show, Christi could get away with putting out these kinds of narratives all the time and people agreed with her. I think over the years it’s become a lot more clear that Christi is also a manipulator herself.
