'koitsu' means 'this thing' in a really casual (here slightly derogatory) manner, usually translated as 'this b*tch' because this is about as rude as a Japanese can be. Momonofu just translated that intent with Chloe in mind.

I just love how EVERYONE says Takane Lui's full name. Ever since she had that thing with Marine (I think) and she told her she feels respected when people say her full name, everyone went along with it and I'm super endeared by that.

I'm impressed by how they're not talking over each other. they take turns telling their parts of the story very smoothly it almost sounds scripted and rehearsed but also natural. In short, they're good at talking. Or maybe I just think that because I don't know Japanese.

Zatsudans are usually at least partially scripted (because unlike just solo playing a game and reacting to a game, the streamer needs to actively find something to talk about). subaru for example is known to make rough outlines beforehand of each topic she talks about. they also ask for permission before the stream when they want to talk about stories that involve other holomems (especially for interactions that happened off-stream). Pre-stream meetings/rehearsals are also a thing for collabs. Ollie once talked about the holo ID and holostars JP rehearsal before their mario kart collab stream. I'm not saying livestreams aren't genuine or anything, but there's a lot of preparations behind the scenes. They don't just call each other and wing it live for 2 hours.

@@invalleria This. There's a difference between having an outline or plan and actually scripting. Just because the HoloLive girls have good chemistry with each other and can make the convo flow doesn't mean the entire stream is scripted. On the other hand, just because it's scripted doesn't mean it will flow well. A lot of the "official" collabs are scripted or minutely planned, but they tend to seem very awkward and rigid, whereas many of the off-collabs and zatsudans are unscripted, but flow very naturally.

Making outlines for streams seems reasonable honestly. It's much better to prepare something beforehand instead of awkwardly sitting silently or trying to come up with something without any idea at all when you run out of topics.
