I don’t think there was a gap in vocal ability because Halle had always had range. I just think Halle’s stage presence was more timid and now she is busting out of her shell! P.S. I still need them to go on tour!

Agreed. I went back and watched a few of their older performances before they blew up and Halle use to do a lot more vocals acrobats and sing in her lower register a lot.

I have been following them for a long time. Halle always had vocal range and different genre styles. of singing. What happened is after they signed, Halle got less opportunity to use them. if you pay attention she has less singing time then Chloe. Go back and look at their old videos and pay close attention, then compare them to signing. look at the very old comments on the old ones you will see what I posted in regards to Halle's different genre styles, she also had an indie style of singing which is no longer there. Halle's confidence was not the same after signing,. Doing her own thing is what brought it back. When they were doing their cover songs on youtube Hallie would display different genre styles depending on the cover song. her style back then was indie, pop, jazz, R&B etc.

I don't believe there was a gap in vocal ability, but a gap in vocal presentation. Halle's range has always been there, but it's almost like she allowed Chloe to showcase her vocal ability more than hers. Once Halle was able to perform as a solo artist, it felt like she was able to gain her own wings. Meaning, she gained her own sense of artistry as a soloist. Now that Halle is back doing performances with her sister, she now has a more concrete sense of self to where now she can soar.

I understand completely what you meant it always seemed like to me as well Halle was shy almost not confident in her vocal ability but I can say after filming the little mermaid spending time away from Chloe it seemed Halle became more comfortable and confident in her voice meaning doing vocal runs and giving us more chesty notes because I now see a change in her voice and I love it ❤️

Halle has always been a strong vocalist, I think you're referring to her stage presence bc in my opinion her vocals have always been stronger just more understated in delivery.

Whatever vocal coach Halle worked with for little mermaid did her wonders cuz ever since she’s been back filming she’s been on 🔥 she always had it but I think that movie gave her more confidence for sure. And I think it’s cuz Chloe is very experimental with her voice during performances vs halle. Peep in their older performances. She’s showing us more of her range now which I love 😍

Halle worked with Eric Vetro. He has a lot of celebrity clientele. He's worked with Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Jojo... the list is extensive. After Chloe saw what he did with Halle, she began going to him too

Halle sang in her lower register in TKAA. Both of them always had range. I do agree that the stage presence of halle is more confident now for sure.

This is more of Halle style she’s more of a jazz singer and I don’t think there was a gap I feel like Halle let Chloe do certain things but now she’s like forget that I’m about to sing I’m the little mermaid 😂

There was no gap in ability just stage presence. Halle said in an older interview it was harder during Covid to perform because there was no crowd to feed off. That combined with her new confidence through her solo work is probably what you’re picking up on

I get where you’re going with “the gap” but I wouldn’t call it vocal ability or potential. I believe it was just different stages of vocal maturity.. we have to remember Halle is 2 years younger than Chlöe.

I personally feel there is still a gap because Halle can't go as low as Chlöe can. Also I don't think Chlöe can sing as high as Halle. Both can SANG though. Chlöe's VOCALS are my person favorite!

Halle has the more versatile singing voice. She can sing jazz, Broadway, pop and rock. Her vocals are crystal clear, never muffled sounding. Halle does not have a r/ b voice to me she can sing it but it is not her best genre. I think chloe's voice is better suited for r/b. Not to compare but I think Halle will have the bigger music career. I am expecting to see her on Broadway and jazz concerts.

Halle has found a new womanly confidence, I think it's a mix of having to be on her own and learn herself during the filming of The Little Mermaid AND her being in a relationship with DDG. I understand what you're saying and I believe your assessment is correct, it was a closing of the gap in Halle's vocals and stage presence. You can see that she was going for it/taking it there.

Yeah I definitely think this is and not vocals, chloe always been expressive on stage. I think Halle has just gotten even more comfortable on stage and confident and that's why it feels different
