The BEST crossover turn style/tutorial I've seen. Thank you!

This is dope! I got DQd once because I did an actual back flip. It only works when you go back to back. So I had no clue you could transition like this! I really liked how you broke it down in a way that even a beginner swimmer can understand! Thank you Mrs. C!

Thank you so much for this! My coach had wanted me to do this turn over in our next meet on the IM and I didn’t really have an idea on how to come into the wall and then turn!

Thank you Chloe! I watched your video and executed successfully this morning. Your advice to get forehead to knee was what clarified it for me. No other videos on KZbin and my coach ever told me this. Also, LOOKING at my knees while getting my forehead to knees was the key. You didn’t say this in the video, but I watched you do this and that was the final piece of the puzzle for me.

i have watched more than 30 tutorials about crossover turn. This is one of the ones. Clear description and demonstration, sufficient detail. Sprinter, long distance or different stroke... A Real swimmer learns 4 strokes, quality!

I used this to show our senior swimmers and then we did some of the sequence. There was an immediate marked improvement in this transition. Thank you!

Wow Chloe! Thank you for breaking it down in small easy steps! I will try the Crossover Turn next time I swim! any thing that can help meto complete breaststroke lap faster beside the actual swim is great as I am so slow in that stroke. I alway swim the breaststroke in the contect of the IM so form the backstroke

Am I right that there are two legal ways of doing the turn from backstroke to breaststroke? The second one (suicidal turn?) is when you rotate around horizontal axis bringing legs over a head. It's more like flip turn but on a back
@ChloeSuttonswim7 жыл бұрын
+tikskit there are actually 4 turns that I teach. The only thing that matters is that you touch on your back and push off mostly on your front

Sencillo pero mas lento que si las piernas rotasen fuera del agua como en el viraje de espalda o crol. Easy but slower than the other version where legs turn outside the water.
