ghd Original vs. ghd Chronos & Swapping Hands When Styling

Hi guys! 🧡 Welcome back
A comment on one of my other videos (chronos vs. platinum+) sparked the discussion this week of swapping hands when styling & talking about dominant hands or ambidextrous styling.
And I thought we could then test out ghd original vs. ghd chronos for straightening (using chronos in my left hand this time) 😉
I have type 2b hair (naturally wavy, medium density) and I wouldn't say this is challenging hair, so to be honest I actually didn't see a HUGE difference when straightening my hair. I think you will see a bigger difference when straightening curly, coarser thicker hair types (I have since tested this with my hair extension wefts and the results are far more obvious between the 2)

Does chronos make your hair look flat? I have the same hair type and length as you. I want the hair shiny but not flat. Should i purchase platinum + instead? Thanks so much❤❤❤

No doesn’t make the hair flat! If you want some root lift then just lift up a little at the root before gliding down 😊😊

I just love the look of the Chronos. Looks so luxurious. Does it feel bulky to hold compared to the original ?

It does look more luxurious for sure! And no feels less bulky as it actually goes slightly more narrow where you hold it, the shape tapers in a bit 😊

No non è pesante. È leggera come la Platinum ma molto molto più veloce nel lisciare i capelli . Me ne sono innamorata. La Platinum l'ho venduta, non riusciva a domare i miei capelli grossi e tanti. La Chronos fantastica. In dieci minuti ho fatto tutta la testa. Inoltre rimangono molto più morbidi e lucidi❤

I think original or gold would work great for you then tbh! I think you’re hair is already straight but you just want a great styler to give you that POKER straight finish on occasions then you’ll love either of those and I wouldn’t say you need to opt for a top of the range styler x
